Snow went to the vet because the staff at the pet hotel noticed some blood in his stool.

He tested positive for an intestinal parasite and is receiving treatment. The vet will also monitor his eating habits and bowel movements to rule out other possible causes.

Hopefully it is not serious.

Snow really needs a home. He has been in boarding for a while and he is overall delicate. He is is neutered and took his first vaccine.

Update on Hala!

Hala was released from the hospital yesterday. She is still on three medications and is literally skin and bones.

Unfortunately, no one volunteered to take her in for her final few months and none of our team members or friends have the capacity. We also did not get any donations for her. It broke our heart to see her so weak in cold weather so we moved her to boarding despite financial constraints.

We really need help covering her vet bill. If anyone can donate any amount, please Dm us.

We also still hope that someone would take her in so we don't have to pay more on boarding.

❤️ FOR ADOPTION ❤️

SKIPPY is still available for adoption. He is the cutest tripawd kitten. Despite having a missing leg, Skippy is a normal and playful kitten.

Skippy is neutered, and he took his first vaccine a couple of weeks ago.

He is extremely friendly and would do well with other cats. Skippy lost his leg after a fracture that was hard to repair. The vets think that he was pulled by the leg.

We hope that he gets adopted soon and doesn't have to face the cruelty of the streets again.

Sunny & Moustache, two extremely friendly outdoor cats, went to the vet to get checked and vaccinated.

They are both extremely friendly but unfortunately considered less adoptable because they are mixed breed/ domestic cats and not kittens.

These boys are both neutered. They are very friendly and we would love for them to find loving forever homes.

An update on Hala!

Hala has leukemia. She was experiencing a rapid decline in her blood counts so the vet tried several ways to boost her counts.

Today, and for the first time, Hala's test results are improving. On the outside she is alert, active and has a good appetite.

So we will see if she can sustain normal-ish blood values till the weekend so maybe we can release her back to her outdoor home on Monday. She will be on medication and we will try to the best of our ability to observe her.

If she declines, we might consider giving her a graceful ending to the suffering because we already did a lot and we know the end is near anyway.

It would be great if anyone would give Hala a spot in their home for her final days so she does have to spend them in a cage or outdoors in this winter.

Pearly also went to the vet today.

She was checked, and she is in good health. The vet noticed some plaque build up on her teeth which we decided to address now. So she was scheduled for teeth cleaning next week.

She took a deworming pill and an antibiotics shot for Monday's procedure.

Pearly is extremely friendly, and she likes to cuddle. She would make a great family pet. She is available for adoption after we clean her teeth.

❤️ FOR ADOPTION ❤️

Snow went to the vet today. He has completed the final course of antibiotics and is in great health.

Snow took his first vaccine in addition to an extra dose of deworming. He is now ready to start looking for his forever home.

Snow is very friendly and playful. He likes to be an only pet and does not like other cats. His adopter needs to embrace his playful and active character.

❤️ FOR ADOPTION ❤️

Pixie and Pixel are still looking for homes. They are extremely friendly and affectionate cats. They are deflead, dewormed, vaccinated and spayed/neutered.

We really hope that they get adopted together, but we are willing to split them if the adopter already has another cat.

Most people overlook domestic cats when looking to adopt. Domestic cats are very resilient, and they make wonderful pets. They also have less genetic and medical issues compared to in**ed cats.

Update on Hala!

Hala is doing much better, but unfortunately she was diagnosed with leukemia. Her blood tests show severe anemia, and she will probably decline if she was returned to the street.

We do not know how long she still has, probably only a few weeks or months. We hope that someone was inspired by Chunky's story and would be willing to give Hala a safe place to spend her last chapter.

We are very sad to share that Chunky has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈

Chunky used to be an outdoor cat. Towards the end of her life, she was suffering from kidney failure and required a special diet. We tried to give her the best care we could but we knew that she would be much more comfortable in a home.

We are so grateful that decided to step in and adopt Chunky. Her amazing mom insisted on giving her the best final days of her life.

Chunky was loved and taken care of till the end. ❤️

Rest in peace Chunky 🌹

Skippy, the cutest tripawd, moved to a foster home this week. He is still adjusting to moving out of the cage.

He looks so cute and we would love to see him in a loving forever home soon.

Skippy was neutered and he took his first vaccine. He is extremely sweet and friendly and can adjust to to another pet.

Although Skippy is a tripawd, having a missing leg does not affect him in any way. He can move, play and use the litter box normally.

Yesterday a friend spotted one of our beloved outdoor cats that has been lost for a few days. She was hiding and looked very sick.

She was rushed to the vet. Her temperature was 32 degrees only and blood tests showed that she has infections. She was placed on IV antibiotics and will need to stay at the clinic until she is stable.

Hala's state is fragile and we hope she makes it.

DM if you would like to help us cover her bill

Update on Skippy!

Skippy had his stitches removed today. He also took his first vaccine. Thankfully, he is adjusting well to being a tripawd.

We are glad to share that a kind person saw Skippy at the clinic and agreed to foster him for us.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Meet Gaya!

Gaya was living in a home. In the middle of winter, her family decided that it's a good time to put her in a cardboard box and throw her on the street because they are "traveling".

Gaya was so confused and the box was open so she was immediately injured by a motorcycle. Thankfully, it was only a minor injury to her tail.

Why do people do this to their cats. How are they not affected with the suffering that they caused.

Gaya is getting spayed today and she REALLY needs a home. Please reach out if you would like to foster or adopt Gaya.

Bobby #2, an outdoor cat, is back at the vet clinic.

He has dental issues that need fixing. He is currently on IV care and took some antibiotics. His tooth surgery is on Monday.

Unfortunately, outdoor cats do not consistently eat good quality food and are exposed to a lot of filth from the streets, in addition to miscellaneous steess. Thus, they are prone to have recurrent tooth problems.

Meet Pearly!

Pearly was rescued today from a garden area. She is very friendly and sweet, and she was following people around. She is already spayed and is overall healthy except for mild gingivitis and some fleas.

She will board for a couple of days before moving to foster care.

Pearly is available for adoption!

Jimmy is back at the vet clinic.

Unfortunately, he developed a dental absecc that caused his face to look puffy and swollen. The vet drained the abscess today and gave him antibiotics. Tomorrow, he is scheduled for a second oral surgery to extract more teeth.

Oral health for outdoor cat is a huge challenge as we cannot follow up on all their vaccines, and we cannot control what they eat and what they are exposed to.

Update on Skippy!

Skippy underwent a very delicate surgery yesterday to try to repair his broken leg. The surgery went well, but the leg is not completely safe yet from a possible deterioration that might lead to amputation.

We will stay optimistic and will hope for the best outcome especially that he is still a kitten.

Skippy will stay at the vet for a while until his situation is stable. They are doing proper wound care, monitoring the healing process and changing the dressing often.

Keep Skippy in your thoughts 🙏
