We’ve been notified about 3 dogs near the area of Palin Dr./Lakeway Dr. running at-large. The female dog (unknown breed, either brown or beige in color) has bitten a pedestrian. We ask that if anyone knows the owner/s, please contact us as soon as possible.

We received a call regarding at least three dogs Running at-Large within the Wellington Subdivision on Lakeway Dr. None of the dogs are currently wearing collars.

🐾🐾🐾🐾Coyote Mating Season🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Coyote mating season is upon us, this 4-6 week cycle starts in late February into early March. Below I've listed a few tips that you can use to keep you and your furbaby safe.

🐾Please be mindful of your animals whereabouts outdoors, especially in a fenced in backyard. Coyotes are expert climbers.

🐾During this time, please have a secured leash or body harness on your pet, to prevent them from getting away from you.

🐾PICK UP YOUR PETS P**P! The scent of your pets p**p can attract Coyotes. Be sure to regularly maintain your yard.

🐾Stick to lighted areas, or carry your own light source. Coyotes attacks are less likely in well-lit areas.

🐾CLEAN YOUR GARDEN. A Coyote will not want to spend time in an environment where there is nowhere for them to hide.

🐾STAY CALM. If you and your pet encounter a Coyote, DO NOT RUN! If you encounter a Coyote who doesn't seem to notice you, move away quietly without turning your back to the Coyote.

🐾Lastly, do not allow your pet out of your sight. No matter how big your pet is, a single Coyote will isolate your pet and then attack your pet with its pack.
