Just over 100 days out of the wild! Nerves were high but Valor did amazing! The judge complimented Isaiah on his composure even through the hard stuff. Pool noodles are scary, though.
Valor just is an amazing little guy! He walked straight out of his stall into the chaos and right to the arena. Isaiah and Valor unexpectedly went 1st for the halter handling and body competition last night and did great! He’s such a willing boy!
We love coming to the Yamhill County Sheriff's Mounted Posse obstacle nights! Valor conquered every obstacle there! He trusts Isaiah and even if he is hesitant he will follow him anywhere. Valor stayed calm and collected through the chaos of a lot of people and other horses and hauled like a champ! #southsteensHMA #teensandoregonmustangs #Valor #mustang Valor will be available in March for adoption! Don’t hesitate to contact us if you’d like to find out more about him. He’s going to make someone a great horse!
Valor and Isaiah worked up quite a sweat today! A barn friend offered up their cooling blanket to help dry Valor off. He didn’t care one bit about it! He loved the massages he got from Isaiah.
Today was the first day Valor acted like a wild horse with no training 🤭. He also slipped his halter while being cross tied. We are glad he didn’t see the 3 open doors and decide he wanted to stretch his legs outside. 😬
First time being around the rope. First time being sprayed with anything. He just keeps on amazing us!
Obstacles? What obstacles?
Lots of new things today!
