Caribbean Canine Connection is also a proud member of the Caribbean Dog Rescue Coalition, established in 2024 to Fight the upcoming CDC Regulation, effective August 1st, 2024, which will Ban any Dog under the age of 6 months from entering the United States.

Hi CCC! This Fundraiser is Near and Dear to our Hearts πŸ™πŸ»πŸΎβ€οΈ
One of our Incredible Partner Rescue Organizations in Jamaica saved this sweet Pup from a Life of extreme Abuse, Neglect, and multiple pregnancies, but had no choice but to humanely euthanize her while pregnant with 6 puppies, in order to end her pain and suffering, due to extremely limited Funds & Resources in Jamaica πŸ’”
That is when we stepped in and said- No, it just cannot end for poor, sweet Porsche this way.
She had known nothing but pain, suffering, and loss her entire Life, and she deserved a chance at a Happy, Healthy, and Joyful Life, after all that she has endured! πŸ™πŸ»
The Caribbean Reacue Coalition agreed, and before we knew it, she had been Rescued from her Abusers, and gave birth in Montego Bay, Jamaica to 6 Beautiful, Healthy Puppies!!! πŸ₯ΉπŸΎπŸ™πŸ»
It unfortunately will be very costly to transport her here to the States, where the INCREDIBLE Save the Satos has agreed to take her in, but we made a commitment to her, and we will NOT STOP until she has found her Happily Ever After 🏝️🐢✈️🏑🐾❀️

Happy Sunday Everyone! πŸ₯°β€¦..We are DESPERATELY looking for a Foster Family for this absolute ANGEL πŸ˜‡ of a Pup who is currently at the Bahamas Humane Society, and she has really struck a cord with us! πŸ₯Ή
Mama Iggy is the SWEETEST, most GENTLE & KIND soul, and is a favorite amongst the Shelter Volunteers!!…. in the first 2 pictures with our friend and fellow rescuer, Elena, we are told that Mama Iggy will stay in that position for several minutes, just so grateful to be receiving affection and love πŸ™πŸ»β€οΈ

A bit more about Mama Iggy…

Mama Iggy was rescued in a terrible condition by the BHS along with her puppies, but due to the shelter being overwhelmed, she has been living in a small crate since then…

Volunteers try to take her out for a walk once or twice a week at the most for a few minutes. Unfortunately, however, hundreds of other dogs at the shelter are also waiting to be walked, and their group is too small to give her more time as they would love to do… πŸ˜”

Despite this, all shelter volunteers describe Mama Iggy as the most kind and gentle soul!! ❀️
She gets along perfectly well with both people (including kids!) and other dogs, and she just loves being around people- Cuddling is what she enjoys the most ! πŸ’• She is sweet, patient, and walks perfectly on a leash.
Also, Iggy doesn’t require much exercise, she is a mid-level activity dog.

Mama Iggy really deserves to find a loving family and a happy home and will be the BEST companion, who will return the Love that is given to her many times over, that is πŸ’― guaranteed !!!

The first step to get Mama Iggy out of the Shelter and to the states is to find a Loving Foster for her in the NEW ENGLAND OR TRI-STATE (NY, NJ, CT area) so PLEASE SHARE SHARE SHARE & MESSAGE OUR PAGE if you or someone that you know may be able to Help this Sweet Soul on her Journey to her Second Chance and Happily Ever After that she SO DESERVES! Our Beginning...

Caribbean Canine Connection (CCC for short!) was established in 2020 by 4 dedicated Dog-Lovers, who have a special fondness for the mixed-breed Puppies and Dogs of the Caribbean Islands, often lovingly called β€œCoconut Retrievers” or β€œPotcakes”. Our team members all have experience either living on or frequently visiting the Caribbean Islands, and have therefore seen first hand the upsetting manner in which Pups are often treated in these areas. Additionally, we have witnessed the unfortunate overpopulation of puppies and dogs on the islands, which often results in these animals becoming strays, and not properly cared for. This is why we decided to emBARK upon this mission to raise awareness of Island Pups in need, and to provide support to facilitate their connection to direct adopters, fosters, or reputable rescue organizations in the US. We are all also parents to our own Island Pups, and can attest to their amazing spirit and unique personalities....They are simply the BEST!!!
