This seminar enables judges to attend and complete judging accreditation. Judges are required to attend a workshop/seminar every three years. Exceptional International speakers – an opportunity to be educated by some of the best!

Palma El Ameira - the next horse in my bid to photograph them all by the end of 2024.

Sired by Ecaho from Pilica, she is a full sister to famed Polish National Champion Mare Palmeta.

Palma has produced for us one filly and two c**ts, and she is again in foal to Titanium FX (Ekstern x Funkia by Gazal Al Shaqab) for 2025.

Here is another of my beauties…Djamila Nadira.

Sired by DP A***n El Jamal (MF A***n el Tessa x Ella Noura) and from one of my all-time favourite mares Nehima (Nazzai x Neshika). Djamila is the only descendant of Neshika in the stud currently, she represents her family with great femininity and grace.

Djamila is the dam of two fillies, and I am looking forward to more in the future.

I was supposed to have one of my favourite photographers come out this weekend, but I couldn’t find anyone to help me so we postponed. So feeling sorry for myself, a couple of days ago I took photos of a few of the girls anyway, rattle in one hand, camera in the other.

Netifa has inherited all the style and flair of her parents, most notably the big trot that Abha Omani of Redwood Lodge Arabians is admired for. I am looking forward to her future

It's funny sometimes the journey you go on with a horse. When Nejilah (RHR Heir of Marwan x Neytiri) was born, there were many qualities that I really liked about her, but we didn't really gel on a personal level. A daughter of my favourite mare though Neytiri (Al Kha-zar x Clifton Park Nefisa)...I held onto her. I did consider selling her, almost did once...it didn't work out, which in hindsight was a gift. And then...something clicked with us.

She was part of my show team when I started showing again, and she did pretty well which made me happy. She was started under saddle, and I was kinda scared to ride her and put it off for many months, until a trip to Kosciusko National Park was planned and I just had to get started.

Nejilah was far from well behaved in the park, and at times I almost left her there, however by the end of it, we were a team. The year since has been filled with many adventures together, and the bond I have with her now is one like no other - not more, not less, just different and unique.

She cannot wait to get on the float and go, she is always the first to cross a river, to investigate something new, to boldly make her way through the forest with everyone else behind her.

On more than one occasion, she has inspired people riding other breeds to comment on her bravery and willingness - one day perhaps they might comment on her being quiet and compliant, but we are far from that yet...which suits be perfectly. She flies her Arabian flag proudly, a regal purebred mare who loves and protects her rider. What more could one want?

First foal for the season is a lovely grey c**t by Naajmir (Ajman Moniscione x Sabtah Nahlah) from Giselle V (Ghazal Ibn Estopa x Adana Al Nadira).

He is the great grandson of two of my foundation mares, Clifton Park Nefisa (Nile x Nazelle) and Naasama (Amit El Shaklan x Naadya).

He is super friendly and sweet, I look forward to watching him grow.

Wonderful news from the Festival 2024 this past weekend, with two Ray of Light sons taking top honours.

Amaki's Super Imposed (Ray of Light x Amaki's Impasshan), bred by Gale and owned by Kimm Blackburn was awarded Champion Palomino Foal, Champion Partbred Arabian Foal, Champion Led Palomino C**t/Stallion and took home the Supreme Led Coloured Exhibit.

His brother Diamond Road Supremacy (Ray of Light x Fortissima KEI), owned by Makayla Hopwood was awarded Champion Palomino Gelding. So good to see him back in the ring.

I will be looking forward to following their progress across the shows this season...I think they have Australian National Champion written all over them!

How good are these photos!! Great news from the Youth and Non-Pro Show organised by The Downs Arabian Club this past weekend. Diamond Road Candy Crush (Ray of Light x Shan-elle), owned by Hill was awarded Champion Derivative shown by a non-pro, later securing the High Point award with her handler in her age group, followed by a thrilling win in the Novelty event.

Isn't she lovely? The quintessential white Arabian mare.

My first foal for this season is from Giselle V (Ghazal Ibn Estopa x Adana Al Nadira), sired by Naajmir (Ajman Moniscione x Sabtah Nahlah). Giselle V, an East Coast, Victorian Classic and NSW State Titles Champion, is kindly on lease from Tanya Hosking.

This will be the first time I have crossed two of my foundation mares, Clifton Park Nefisa (Nile x Nazelle) and Naasama (Amir El Shaklan x Naadya), the respective granddams of Naajmir and Giselle V. I am looking forward to a very beautiful result.
