Welcome to the herd gee “GIVEALITTLEGEE”!

We’re so happy to have this gorgeous mare with us. She is an UNLCE MO granddaughter, and will hopefully do big things one day 🥰.

She is available for breed lease, or sale. She currently has a slight lameness in the front left knee that we are rehabbing, so fingers crossed it heals quickly.

We picked her up yesterday evening and she’s been a dream 🥰

A bit of an appreciation post for our wonderful farrier. This man has stuck with our family through thick and thin, helped us out when loss struck our family, taught my dad how to be the farrier he was, and has kept our horses sound and happy for years on years! Howard walker is more than a farrier to us, he is family 💕

Bear is a really cool horse, she is very driven but never run through your hands, she likes to work and will do it all day. We have put quiet a nice handle on her. She neck reins, is getting into spinning, started on sliding stops, all you’ve got to do is sit and put your feet forward, gets her butt up under her, used to work cattle, and lightly started barrels but nothing serious. She is the definition of could go in any direction. She’s got a trot and canter that’s to die for, she’s quick, catty, and very responsive. I have put an inexperienced rider on her and she didn’t really want to move, she expects just as much as you do as far as perfection so a kid that doesn’t know anything isn’t gonna cut it for her. This horse WANTS TO WORK. She is also FLASHY, the photos here do her no justice conformation wise.

She has bucked twice with me however one of those were my fault as I flanked her by accident, and the other was when I first received her in. We should be past that but she is a horse. She is sounds and build very nicely, she has some scars on her hind legs but we’ve never had an issue with her even after riding her all day a couple days in a row. Bottom of the pecking order in the pasture and gets along with everyone, super sweet mare. Bathes, ties, leads, loads. Only thing she’s not crazy about is touching her butt when your riding her, not sure why, but she’s also made progress on that.

We are all settled into our new facility!!! That means more training spaces open, and plenty of room for the horses to run!
21 stalls, some with runs
20 acres
Separate feed and tack room
Indoor wash rack
5 large pastures
3 loafing sheds
3 small turnouts
And a COVERED arena
Even better we are less than 5 minutes from jones forest!
We are now also offering boarding!

Bourbons canter rode today was fantastic, she even got to stretch out at the end! Getting ready for tango! We are so fortunate to be able to use this gorgeous facility and all it has to offer!

Michele Genzardi’s beautiful mare sage is doing so well! She came sitting back, bucking, and wouldn’t pick her feet up without a fight. This is her today doing almost perfect under saddle, got all of her feet picked up without drama, and hasn’t sat back in a couple days! We are currently conditioning her for Tango on January 1st and we are so excited to race her and see what she can do!
