Super proud of our young handler Ava who wrote to Blue Peter telling them about Iggle Piggle Guinea Pig Rescue! Early this morning the post man delivered a letter to her giving her a Blue Peter Badge! Well done Ava we must look out for your work on the Blue Peter board on the TV

Hekate not long after we rescued her, a few weeks before she went to her new mummy and her fabulous forever home with the pampered ladies ❤️ The poem was written by auntie Val and we are honoured to post it on all our social media. Thank you auntie Val for everything you do to support us in our rescue. Hekate will be very missed but she will live on in our memories forever. She might have gone over 🌈 🌁 but we wish her well on her adventures with all the piggies that passed before her. Sleep tight our very precious piggy xx

This amazing woman is our top fan and we love her and her pampered ladies so much. I went on a big rescue 4 years ago and rescues a tiny scrap of a piggy and showed her on our page. Auntie Val as we call her saw her and fell in love. My husband drove us to auntie Val’s friends house in Ipswich. Sandra then drove Hekate down to her forever home in Essex. Many tears were shed from that big rescue in Norfolk and some piggies didn’t make it 😭 but Hekate flourished but didn’t grow up to be a big piggy. For us at the rescue to be able to watch Hekate grow and bloom has been absolutely amazing. We thank you both for all the help and support you have given us over the years, we love you for it 🥰 People please keep watch as I shall be doing another post containing a beautiful poem written by auntie Val in memory of her very loved piggy Hekate ❤️

Another of our summer challenges

Our 3rd challenge for our young handlers

The summer holidays have begun and it’s time to think about our young handlers and anyone else who enjoys guinea pig themed stories who would like to join us. Due to health issues I’ve lapsed with reading and challenges with our wonderful young handlers but I’m getting ready to come back with some new and exciting stories to share with everyone. Watch out for updates telling you what I will be reading and when then come and join us 🥰 I’m now going to sort challenges for those young handlers that wish to do some learning about piggies through arts and crafts and lot’s of imagination. Let us know if you would like further details as we will be back bigger than ever and intend on having lots and lots of fun throughout august 😘
