Old man Nix is getting more and more sugar faced! Can’t believe he is almost 12 years old! And while he did an awesome job early season prairie grouse hunting and pheasant hunting the first half of our guiding season in SD, he’s gonna stay home and relax the second half of the guiding season!

He is more than an asset in the field! This dog is one of the best wild bird finders and proved it pointing more birds than any of the other dogs on the SD guiding string this fall.

I know Ethan will miss having him up there this next week but Kat .thedogtrainer is going to enjoy having him around the house to cuddle with!

As for Nix, though he is getting older, he still goes strong and would love to be up there hunting again, but I know he sure appreciates a soft bed and being a house dog too!

There’s not much cuter than kids and puppies!

Piper is such a good, sweet momma and loves the extra love and attention from all of us, including Aiden!

Of course he is ALWAYS supervised when helping with puppies, but it is a great experience for him to learn and he always wants to be included and help! We are so proud of how gentle and kind he is to Piper and the puppies!

Sunday morning snuggles 🥰 Shock is such a good momma dog and she is so sweet with her puppies!

Chug a lug little pup 🍼 Sometimes a litter will need just a little help or momma needs a little break so we will help supplement puppies! Bottle feeding can be very time consuming, but it is also a great opportunity to bond with the puppies and spend just that 🤏🏻 much more time with them!

Just an adorable pile of 10 puppies 😍 Quest is the best momma dog and is doing an amazing job taking care of her litter of puppies!

These little 5 week old GSP puppies are exploring the outside world for the first time after enjoying some puppy mush! We start the potty training process with our puppies at the same time we start on puppy mush! The Splash x Gunner litter have been good little messy eaters and are learning how to potty outside this week!

The Mako x Thunder puppies are just too adorable! These two girls Blue and Bonnet are just getting the hang of their wobbly little legs and trying to play with each other! It doesn’t get any cuter than that!

I think it’s fair to say the Splash x Gunner puppies enjoyed their first taste of puppy mush! We blend up their Eukanuba puppy pro food with Esbillac milk replacer and a little bit of warm water! Delicious 👌🏻

TheTrix x Vex litter loved their first opportunity for puppy mush! Gotta love their messy little faces!

I love these baby puppies all sprawled out for bedtime! A nice clean whelping box and Momma Trix is ready to hop right in with them and snuggle up!
