Nice day for a snowy lesson
Jett update!! Probably about his 10th ride with me after sitting for a number of years. He was known for bucking. We took him to the equine dentist, and this is how he is now! Still working on a number of things, but he is starting to move out and listen better.
Too see this horse with a kid on him….blows my mind. 🥹 He definitely has a space in my heart. I was tearing up watching her take him around at a trot and how gentle he was with her. Here’s to more lessons with Blue.
When your more advanced clients get to go out on the trail 🌻🎉
Desensitizing lessons ❤️ great night for it
*Nu Cash* Mare for your consideration. She is 11 years old. Good stops, side pass, walks, trots, canters all directions. She is not for beginners. Her owner wants to sell her. Serious enquirers only. She is hot and is a mover. Has had 30 days, but have not taken her on a trail ride. She is 16 hands and needs a Bigger trailer than a bumper pull. Does have AQHA papers. Pm for inquiring and more videos. Upper 6###
Missing the Warmer weather as the real feel today is -12. Stay warm!!
Desensitizing Captain
Desensitizing
I find this to be an important aspect. Even a “bomb proof horse” is afraid of something. For this guy, it’s toilet paper.
We always move the horses feet forwards, backwards, left and right, to get to the thinking side of their brain.
The more horses work on the fundamentals, the better they will behave with external factors.
Even though he may look silly, I love trying everything and anything to Spook a horse, and then use that object for them to grow confidence!
