I got a big surprise today after I got home from work!!! Andy Bugos & Tim Conover surprised me with this framed photo of Lucy & Duke on the front cover of the A*O magazine!!! I am truly blown away & can’t tell you how much this means to me!!! I love training dogs & to see the joy I also bring to the owners. Thank you again Tim & Andy this means so much to me!!!!

Well today my nephew Luke, my son in law Dalton & I took my camper to Arkansas to get it set up for duck season & since we were this close we decided to go to Mack’s Prairie Wings & see the RNT call shop. What a good time that was!!! We also seen & scouted a couple of our fields we will be hunting. Tomorrow finish seeing the other pit & head back home! Can’t wait for season to start!!!

And that’s a wrap on 2024 training season!! 😊 It was graduation night for Blue!! Blue was the last dog to go home & now it’s time to put all that hard work into play for 2024/25 waterfowl season & make a lifetime of memories!!! 😊 Good luck to all!!! Stay safe & shoot straight!!! As training season is coming to a close it was time for Nico to go home. Nico is a pup out of my litter from last year & Jason approached me about training about a month ago & I said I tell you what I have an opening for October let me see how much I can get in 1 month. In 1 months time I put her through Ff, force to pile & she also knows hand/whistle commands!!! That’s pretty impressive for just 1 month!! But I can’t take the credit because I don’t have a magic trick up my sleeve! that’s more the dog than me!! All dogs learn at a different pace & it takes figuring out how the dog learns & how fast they build their confidence. Nico was just one of them that went into it with confidence & kept wanting to learn more & more so I kept feeding into her!! 😊

It was graduation night for Blitz!!! Blitz always came out giving a 110% I love working with the owners with their dog & to help them understand different drills & the purpose of them so they can have a more successful hunt & make a lifetime of memories!! I have to say I’m pretty excited about this month’s A*O magazine as those 2 pups on the front cover are out of my litter & I also had the pleasure to train them right before they went to North Dakota!! Andy & Tim literally picked up Lucy & Duke a few days before heading to ND & boy did they have a good time!! 😊 So pick up this month’s issue & read about their adventure! Thanks again Tim & Andy for trusting me with your pup! Can’t wait to get more pictures from you guys on your future hunts!! This one we all will never forget! 🥰❤️

This video says it all why I love training dogs!!!! To hear the joy & excitement that Andy is having with his 1 year old pup!!! Yes she is only 1 year old & made this amazing blind retrieve in North Dakota. What makes this more special is that Lucy is a pup out of my 2 dogs!!! 😊 This will be 1 hunt that these 2 will always remember!!! 😊

Lucy will be going home on Sunday & I will truly miss her!!! Lucy is a dog that not only brings the meaning of Labs love to retrieve but absolutely proves that they love it!!! When I get her out she looks at me like line me up & turn me loose!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 this is 245 yards & she just turned 1 earlier this month!!! 😊😊

Duke has really gained a lot of confidence the last 2 weeks!!! For a week straight he has been running a 12 bumper T drill all hand/whistle commands flawlessly without a hiccup!! Now tonight he ran his first 140 yard blind retrieve on the no no drill. The farthest he would go was 90 yards but he has really built a lot of confidence & is now running 140 yards!!! 😊😊
