Healing Paws Rescue focuses on the future of dogs that have had rough starts to life, lost an owner due to an illness and need a new home, or even the ones where unforeseen circumstances have come up and the previous owner can no longer afford their care. We will take them in and find them the new life and home they all deserve. We will also travel to southern states to help dogs in need that coul
d potentially be placed on the euthanasia list due to shelters or humane societies that have reached capacity as well as those that have been found as strays on the streets.
We are desperately searching for 10 fosters for these pups .
All pups are dog friendly and love all humans.
We will provide all supplies needed for pup while they are in your care.

I am almost 9 months old and I am a shepherd mix.

Ursula is the sweetest girl!
Here is a word from Ursula’s foster…
Ursula is a 6 year old couch potato. Her favorite pasttime is lying on the couch right next to her human. She absolutely loves her humans and shows you when she wiggles her butt in excitement. She loves her fur siblings. She has zero interest in cats. She would do well with or without a fur sibling as long as she had her human(s) to love on. She does great with pr***en children. She is 99% housebroken, but might take a refresher as we have a doggy door into a fenced in yard with 24/7 access however, I do not think a fenced in yard would be necessary, just a bonus. She likes to takes walks and could probably stand to lose a few pounds but wouldn't be a long distance running partner. She's got short legs! She might be a corgi basset mix but that is just our guess. She recently went through heartworm treatment so she just needs a monthly preventative now and a check up in the fall of 2024. She has not been spayed yet due to the heartworm treatment. She is looking for her furever.

Hi guys! I’m Matty and I’m looking for my fur/ever home!!
I am 4 months old and a lab mix.
I love being outside and even got to go hiking with my foster family .
I did so good although my foster mom said I was being a tad dramatic when I would get exhausted and throw myself on the ground and wait to be carried!
I am doing wonderful at potty training and have not had one accident in the house or my kennel.
I love to snuggle and play with other pups and humans!

Baxter has been patiently waiting in rescue for 6 months for his fur-ever family to find him! He is just a calm, patient, and loving pup! You can see in this video he does not realize that he may be a little bigger then he thinks he is . Baxter is crate trained, does great on a leash, loves all humans no matter how big or small they are! When people meet Baxter they fall in love with his goofy personality!
