Local Parrot Foster Homes Needed
Local parrot owners, we need your help! Due to our ever-growing waiting list for incoming parrots from deceased parrot owners and their families, we are in need of more local foster homes. If you have at least one year's experience with large macaws and have room to foster an orphaned parrot, please apply to become a foster home for one of these special birds.

Our foster homes need to live within 40 miles of our zip code, 98684. Additionally, they should have at least one year of experience with large parrots. While homeowners are preferred, it is not mandatory.

Your assistance and support would be greatly appreciated. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these amazing birds.

NW PARROT RESCUE is seeking Qualified foster homes.

Before contacting us to start the process, please make sure you qualify, by reviewing the following requirements.
Sorry, there are NO exceptions.

1. I live within 30 miles of zip code 98682 (Vancouver WA)
2. I have a minimum of 1 year of current medium and/or large Parrot experience
3. I am a homeowner (sorry, no apartments or renters) . The home must be stable.
4. I am the head of your household
5. I do NOT have a Dachshund dog, Chow dog or any Terrier mix dogs*.
*(Unless the dog/dogs are currently in a home with parrots, We still must approve Any dog/ dogs in question.)
6. I understand that advanced home visits are mandatory before meeting any available parrots for Fostering.
