Groundwork is the most important part when starting a horse. Done correctly it creates a long lasting foundation. A house can be built with no foundation, however over time it will crumble and fall.

Low lunging is so incredibly important! By putting the reins between his legs and tying them over his withers, the pressure is applied down evenly, tipping his nose down and in, instead of up and out. He allows his own release this way as well. When he tips his nose down, he learns that the rein pressure lessens. By working on this exercise we are strengthening his topline and helping to engage his hind quarters. This will help with moving out more collected when riding as well.

Cinnamon has become part of the family! Bow just absolutely loves her and she is so amazing with him! Only 4 years old and she is the most gentle horse we have ever had the pleasure to own ❤️ those two are going to do wonderful things together!

Tikka is 2 this year and starting her training as well. She is a very smart loving mare ❤️

Low lunging is so incredibly important!
