Ava the German Shepherd 🩷
Had an amazing session with Ava the German Shepherd today!
Ava is one big heavy puller and very distracted with her surroundings. For just a young pup SHE IS STRONG! We can’t have her dragging her owners around so we had to teach her a proper leash walk.
Leash walking is so important for a dog to learn because if gives them a job and teaches them how to ignore their surroundings and stay engaged with their handler. It also creates boundaries and establishes a healthy handler and dog relationship. 🐶
Kimber is on her way home 🏡
We had a lovely time together and we’re really going to miss her around here.
Kimber made some beautiful progress with her leash walking, focus, and relaxation- especially out & about!
Wonderful job to Kimber and her people. I can’t wait to hear how she’s doing at home! 😄 -Carolyn
Winston, the Sheepadoodle, is a super dog who enrolled in the Super Dog Immersion Board & Train with me.
He is a sweet guy who had just a little too much misplaced energy. He lives with kids and he could get a little too rambunctious around them.
Relaxation is important for every dog- whether they have significant anxiety, aggression, or simply are overexcited. Once Winston mastered how to relax, everything else quickly fell into place 💙 -Carolyn
Dodger, the Mini Goldendoodle, stayed with me for the Super Dog 2 Week Immersion Board & Train. His brother, Dallas, trained with us as a puppy. Now it was Dodger’s turn!
Dodger is a super friendly guy (maybe a little tooooo friendly 🤪) and loved to jump, roughhoused a bit too much, and would try to eat snacks off the table.
We worked hard on better manners in the home and how to relax. He had a great time with us and we miss him already!

Gertie’s time with my family and I flew by. ⏰
With her extreme anxiety, we spent everyday walking, doing Anchor the Dog, and showing her that the world isn’t so bad.
She was so excited to show her people her newfound confidence at her pick up lesson! 🌟

Check out all of this loose leash walking! 🤩
No pulling on the leash is on the top of the list of most common training goals when I meet with people for consultations.
Here are a few tips!
• Did you do Find Focus First? 👀
• Keep walks short n sweet until they are consistently walking well 🐾
• Envision a circle around you. Don’t let your dog pop the “bubble”! 🫧

Freddy has graduated his Challenging Dog 4 week Immersion Board & Train 🎓✨
At the beginning of his training he needed help with his anxiety and excessive energy, loose leash walking- especially when seeing squirrels, and also was reactive towards other dogs and strangers and would bark at them.
He’s come a long way in learning how to slow down and relax.
A job well done, Freddy! -Carolyn
Meeka came a long way from a fearful gal, to a confident lady ready to take on the world 💪
She’s had an amazing transformation during her time here and I know that she will only continue to build more and more confidence.
Well done, Meeka! 💗 -Carolyn
Qira came to visit us for a week 💚
We always love having pups come for Refresher Training. We miss all of the dogs that come to train with us- the kids especially! -Carolyn
Sophie, the Doodle, had a wonderful time here in Harrisburg for her Immersion Board & Train. 🌸
She arrived and immediately stole our hearts. She is sweet, silly, and just a hint of sassy. We worked together on good house manners around the kids, loose leash walking, and better manners around strangers and dogs- not everyone wants to say “hello”.
Soph did fantastic and she learned so much during her time away. We had so much fun together 💖💖💖 -Carolyn
Kalida, the German Shepherd, finished the Challenging Dog Immersion Board & Train. She has made an incredible turnaround 🌱
Other dogs would send her into a frenzy of whining, barking, and even screaming. We worked a lot on building her confidence, teaching her how to relax, and better impulse control.
Her world has opened up and she can now enjoy so many new opportunities with her family 🐾💚 -Carolyn
Check out Kalida 👀
She’s been hard at work build her confidence around other dogs and learning to relax. She’s come such a long way! 💫
We still have some time together and I’m excited to see what more we can accomplish! -Carolyn
We’ve been busy! I hope everyone is taking time to enjoy the warm weather and don’t forget to stop and smell the flowers 🌺🌸🌷🌼
These sweet boys recently went home. They learned to work as a team instead of competing against each other.
I’m so pleased with their progress. Best wishes Duncan & Gizmo! -Carolyn
Nyxx not only grown (no pun intended) and changed, but she’s become a part of our family. 💕
Her time with us in the 3 week Top Dog Immersion Board & Train program has come to a close. Nyxx has gained so much confidence- seeing her jump in the car was one of our biggest victories! as well as finding a calmer state of mind.
Everyone who’s met her loves her to pieces. We’re going to miss you! - Carolyn
This is Maverick who completed the Challenging Dog program about a year ago with flying colors 🌈 His lovely owner checks in with me from time to time with their fun adventures and progress.
Mav *hated* loud noises. And I mean hated. 🙉
I love that Mav and his person continue to live their training, and use every opportunity available. This sets him up for a lifetime of success ✨ -Carolyn
Nyxx, my Newfie friend, is an official master of loose leash walking 🏆
❌ At first she would refuse to move, pull with all her might, and flailed around trying to get her Gentle Leader off.
Slowly she mastered the basics of Loose Leash Walking
… then we added in distractions,
… and friends! 🐾🐾
Walks are so much more relaxed and enjoyable as a team! Now Nyxx and I can go anywhere with confidence and peace of mind. 🍃 -Carolyn
Check out Dutch, the Dutch Shepherd, and his people walking through the busy shopping center 🐾
Dutch is enrolled in the Challenging Dog Plus program.
He had little to no socialization prior to going to live with his people. 🚗🧍🐕 Cars, strangers, shovels, dogs- anything new… he would flail around like a fish out of water, try to run away, or lash out and attack.
He’s made some amazing progress thanks to his hard work, and his peoples’ trust and dedication to the training process. I couldn’t be prouder! 🥲

“Help! The bungee cord to my E-Collar strap came off/ was chewed off/ is too small/ etc.”
Instead of buying a new one, here’s a quick video on how to replace it yourself.
I hope this saves you some time, money, and frustration! -Carolyn
⏰ Time has flown by and Marley is headed back home.
Loose leash walking was a huge goal, since her people enjoy the outdoors and want Marley to come along too! 🌳🌤
She was a hugeeee puller and if she really wanted to, could drag me across the street. We put in the work and now she walks beautifully around all types of distractions- cars, chickens, strollers, dogs, you name it!
What a good girl, Marley! 🐾
