Had a great weekend on 8/9th October at the Bbgs AGM.
Was great to meet other folks with boer goat interest. Both days were well attended . Saturday was at Ruth & Antony key and a visit to there very impressive round house. Great to see other set ups and love the ease of access into any pens from the central goat handling system. Talk from 'For Farmers' on forage nutrition and vitamin drenches and other product range from 'green coat farm products'.
A £200 first prize free raffle with 2nd and 3rd prizes for people who attended on the Saturday from 'Green Coats Farm'
An informal meal on the Saturday evening at Black Cow Dalbury Lees gave everyone chance to catch up. On Sunday at Dalbury lees village hall George Coswell from SAC discussed Johnes management and scheme . Followed by Brian Perry on Goat genetics.
Before breaking for lunch and the actual AGM a tour by Ian Johnson's of his boer goat herd also animals from Jan Ernst & Vanessa Montagne herd.
Many thanks to everyone concerned it has been an informative and successful event.

Had a great weekend at Royal Three Counties.
Thanks to John Nicholson of Cark free boer goats for the xtra pair of hands in the 3 prodigy from the same sire class . Sire Davel uk Calder in this instance.

Our first kidder WD Star waited until after we got back from RTC & Monday afternoon she deliver this little chap. 4.80 kg .
