Thank you to all of our wonderful clients for your continued support, we greatly appreciate each and every one of you, and your furry friends! Effective January 1st 2023 we will be implementing the following changes:
Grooming Package Price Increase
The cost of all grooming packages will increase, this price increase is due to the increase in operating costs. The average Bath & Brush price raised by $3.00 while the average Full Groom raised by $8.00. Those of you with large doodles will see the largest price increase due to the fact that previously I have priced doodles all the same. With the increased popularity of doodles and their wide variety of sizes I can no longer groom a 50 lb doodle for the same price as an 85 lb doodle, larger doodles simply take more time and effort to groom. If you would like to confirm your pet's new grooming price just shoot me a message and I can let you know what your pet's new rate will be! Please keep in mind grooming prices are base prices with the assumption the pet's coat is in good condition with no matting. Matted dogs will incur extra charges on top of the base price, this is to account for the extra time involved dematting(if possible) and the extra wear and tear on my clippers and blades when shaving out matting. Of course some tangles here and there are going to happen, however animals coming in with excessive matting take extra time, cause wear and tear on my equipment, and also result in me running behind for the next appointment. If you are having trouble with keeping matts and tangles at bay in certain areas(armpits, ears, tail, etc) let me know and I can cut those areas shorter or make some recommendations on brushing techniques and products to help make those areas more manageable to maintain.
Cancellation Policy
I have a limited amount of appointments available and I am often booked out at least a month in advance. Oftentimes if given enough notice I can fill that appointment slot with another pet, however without sufficient notice those grooming slots go unfilled. If you have to cancel or reschedule your pet's grooming appointment please notify us as soon as possible in order to ensure we can get other pets waiting for grooming moved into that spot. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a $25 rebooking fee in order for me to book another appointment for them.
Bath Days
New this year I will be offering ¨Bath Days¨, this will be one day per month solely set aside for those pets needing Bath & Brushes, Deshedding Treatments and Nail Trims. Many of you message me asking when I can get your pet in for a Bath & Brush and due to the amount of pets I have pre booked out on 4, 6, or 8 week schedules I can´t get your Bath & Brush pet in for sometimes well over a month. By offering one ¨Bath Day¨ a month it will allow me to be able to schedule more dogs who just need bathing services in a shorter time frame. Bath & Brushes & Deshedding Treatments will still need to have an appointment time scheduled for Bath Days, however if you call up the day before or even the day of a Bath Day and I still have a time slot available I can gladly get you on the schedule. Unfortunately since I am the only groomer I cannot offer walk-in bath & deshedding services as I need to be able to control how many dogs are here at a time in order to ensure I can get them in and out in a timely manner. Nail Trims will be offered as a walk in service on Bath Days, meaning you can show up with no appointment on these days and get your pet's nails trimmed. Bath Day services will also be discounted in order to encourage Bath & Brushes, Deshedding Treatments, & Nail Trims to be done on this day. Bath & Brushes and Deshedding Treatments will receive 10% off the usual price, walk in Nail Trims will be done for $10. These services can still be booked on regular grooming days, there will just be no discount given.
Doggie Dashboard
We have started utilizing a new system called Doggie Dashboard. One of the major perks of the system is that it sends email and text reminders. The system will send an email confirmation when you pet's appointment is booked, an email three days prior to the appointment, and a text the day before. Everyone is currently set to receive all notifications, if you would not like to receive notifications, just let us know and we will adjust your notification preferences in the system.
Credit/Debit Cards
We can now accept credit and debit cards(including Apple Pay), if paying by credit or debit card please note there will be a 3% fee added onto the total in order to cover the credit card processing fees.
