We have a new champion at Quail Run pending AKC approval! Quail Run's Frankly Sentimental celebrated her 16 month birthday at Enumclaw with BOW and final major. Thanks to Judge Sidney Marx who selected our girl out of a lovely line up of FCRs. The amazing hands of Mallori Seifert and Sarah Brown of Arctic Storm Handling finished her in short order! Thanks to RDC handling and Erin Coffee for getting her started while Mom was busy remodeling!

Woofstock 2024 was a weekend to tie dye for. Thanks to all the friends with dogs who turned out. A special thanks to Judge Ms. Marjorie Martorella who found Angus as Best of Breed winner in an amazing line up, and also selected daughter, Frankie as WB and BOW. We are grateful to judges Ms. Sherry L Anderson and Mr Richard Paquette who awarded this father/daughter canine duo from . Vetter, Coffee and the RDC handling crew were as always... Amazing!

So we upgraded the new hot tub cover thinking a dog might get up there. All 3 Flatcoats now prefer the hot top cover for naps and keeping tabs on the humans inside.

Christmas came early to Quail Run Family Dogs. Maggie had her 6 pups on December 15, 2023. We added 3 boys and 3 girls to the Flat-Coated Retriever family. Our kennel names are with the theme of the holiday season: Girls: Belle (Quail Run's Jingle Bell Time), Roxie (Quail Run's Jingle Bell Rock, and Mitzi (Quail Run's Mix and A-Mingle and Boys: Blitzen (Quail Run's Sleigh Bells Ring), Dash(er) (Quail Run's Dash Away All), and Waylon (Quail Run's Jingle All The Way) are busy eating and sleeping. Watch for weekly updates and photos to tell their stories.
