RIDER IS LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME🩵
Meet Rider, a 3-year-old neutered male Australian Cattle Dog mix who adores cuddling, playing with other dogs, and going for car rides!
His Story:
Rider was found herding goats in California and was picked up by animal control without any identification. He ended up in a shelter in Modesto, California, where he stayed for 1.5 months before being put on the euthanasia list due to overcrowding. Just 12 hours before his scheduled euthanasia, a couple from Utah arranged for his transfer, saving his life.
Personality and Compatibility:
- Great with other dogs: Rider gets along well with dogs of all sizes and would thrive in a home with other canine companions.
- Good with experienced kids: He does well with children who have experience with dogs.
- Unknown with cats: Rider hasn’t had much exposure to cats, so his compatibility with them is uncertain.
- Ideal environment: Rider would love a home with a yard and a family that leads a moderately active lifestyle.
- Loves companionship: His love languages are quality time and physical touch, enjoying being part of daily activities and going on adventures. He prefers not to be left home alone for long periods.
Training and Care:
- Ongoing training: Rider’s foster family has been training him daily. He is a quick learner but didn’t have much obedience training prior to arriving in Utah.
- Experienced owners preferred: He would benefit from a family experienced with owning dogs, who can continue his training and provide the love and structure he needs.
Rider is a loving and affectionate dog who would make an amazing companion. If you have a place in your heart and home for Rider, please reach out to his foster family in Draper, Utah. He’s ready to join a loving family and share his love and joy! Please DM on this post if you are interested or apply with
