It is with the heaviest of hearts to tell our Oztailano followers that last Saturday we lost Nova due to an accident 💔😥. We are only getting the courage now to speak about as it has really affected our family especially my kids. She was really part of family, always waiting to welcome us each morning at the door, always under our feet when we walk, always wanting to have a play, always wanting to be involved with everything we did. Millie has been lost all week always running around trying to find where Nova is. It’s been a hard week, but we are slowly working through it. Tonight we will have a beer in front of the pot belly where she would lay in front of and enjoy the warmth.
Nova will be sadly missed.

Always a mission to walk these 2. I have to climb under pizza over to get Millie as she hates walks, Nova wants to lead, but Millie won’t walk unless she is the lead bulldog, she won’t move until it happens. Had to make adjustments to the leads to make everyone happy.

So today Millie underwent numerous health test. With these test they will give Millie a gold certificate under National British Bulldog Council health scheme. To conduct these test Millie had to go under general anaesthetic which is a little worrying not know how your dog will handle it, but Millie had no issues at all, vet said she handled it fine 😰. Just some of the tests conducted today, heart examination ✅, patellar ✅, eye examination ✅, X-ray of the tracheal, hips, elbows & spine which will get sent away to a specialist to score.
With Millie having a gold certificate it doesn’t mean that she is a perfect dog, it’s about gathering information & knowledge on how l (the breeder) can help improve this special breed.
I would like to thank Julia of Omana British Bulldogs for all her help she has given me to make this happen.

Been work on a project the last few weeks and today finally finished it off. Puppy Incubator is ready to go. (Well not until mid to late year). Pretty happy with the finished product.

So l leave Nova alone for 20mins, and this is what l walk out too. Neighbour over watered there garden and Niva thought it was a good idea to play in water which generated mud.
