With 16 animals in the sanctuary, we are going through 3 round bales a week. That's nearly $300 at current prices. Add $100 a week for grain, $125 a week for supplements and dewormer and meds...boy it adds up quick.
Farrier was just here, that's $480.
And groceries and gas aren't the only prices going up... our feed bill is steadily rising, fuel for the farm truck (diesel) is outrageous, so on and so on.
Times are tough for everyone, we get it. But if you can help, we could sure use it.

He went from a petrified rescue to my little buddy.
Abe is one of 4 mini donkeys at the sanctuary. As he was very abused, he is a permanent resident.

Addie's daddy...Achilles, aka Bubba, has been in the hay ring when I come out to feed. After panicking the first couple days, I've figured out he can get in AND out, and he is using it as his bed at night!!
So much for using buckets, plywood and other items to block him. At only 28", he goes right through the ring.
