Cucumber is looking much better today so he’s gone back outside to be with his girls, Mouse and Panda. Hopefully the adjustments I’ve made to his shed will mean that Podge will stay on his side from now on!

We had an incident in the night. Podge had somehow gotten into Cucumbers run. Podge and Domino live on the left side of the shed and Cucumber, Panda and Mouse on the right. As you can see, Podge has done some damage to his dad. Thankfully he won’t need any stitches. I’ve cleaned and groomed his wounds and given him some pain relief. He’s now inside recovering. Unfortunately Podge will have mated with Mouse who was due to be neutered. I put the rabbits to bed around 6pm last night and it looks like he’s got in at around 11pm. I discovered them at around 8am so it’s been a long night for them all. Spring time really does make them go a little mental!

I have 3 gorgeous baby bunnies available. They’ll make perfect house bunnies. I’ve put a lot of time into them, making sure that they’re incredibly tame and confident.
I ask a lot of questions to potential new owners to make sure they’ll be going to the perfect home. I’d prefer for my babies to have company so if you don’t already own a rabbit please consider getting 2. They have been bred inside so wont have an outdoor coat but they can be put outside in the spring.

The babies are now 8 weeks old and ready for their forever homes. I’ve extended their nursery with some c&c to give them more freedom. This is an important first step of litter training. They have a bit more room but are still close to their corner tray. I’ll be doing a lot of sweeping up to encourage them to be clean! If anyone is interested in giving one of these babes a home please DM me.

Now that the babies are eating solid food it’s important to give their cage a daily clean. Mouse is really good at showing them how to use the corner tray but if it gets to messy it’ll create bad habits. I really try to get all my babies ready for house bunny life by starting their training early.

It usually takes 1.5hrs to clean out all 7 of my rabbits which I do every Sunday, rain or shine. When my little one helps it’s takes 3hrs 😅… It’s totally worth it though because I can see she loves them just as much as me!

2 of my bunnies don’t get on so I’ve started to re-bond them. They started off as friends but over time have developed a hatred for one and other. Panda and Honey are on opposite sides of the nursery pen. Cucumber and Mouse are both neutral so they will hopefully help to keep things calm. I’ll do this for an hr or so each day for a few weeks/months. Wish me luck!

I’m so pleased to say that all of my bunny babies have now found perfect homes. It takes time to find the right owners for my special fluff buns but it’s worth it. Only the best for my gorgeous babies.

Today we have Domino, Podge and the piggies free roaming the garden. Hiccup, Cucumber and Honey Bun have the shed and small run. The large run is occupied by Panda and her babies. That’s 13 furries! 😊

We’ve had some fun adding another run to the bunny shed today. Both runs are attached by a tunnel so all my buns now have 24hr access to the outside. I have 3 groups which take turns free roaming the garden.
