🔹What wormers do you use for your fur baby?
🔸Do you find purchasing from your vet ultra pricey? Or just never remember to pop in to collect it?

Well I submitted a request at my vets for a prescription for my Dogs wormers where I was able to purchase 12 months worth of wormers for my dogs.
I personally use Nexgard on all of my dogs as I find it works well for them. Also believe it or not they absolutely love it! It’s like a little meaty cube I have know hesitation from any of them to gobble it all up, done once a month, job done ✅
They then have Drontal every 3 months which if you didn’t know isn’t a prescription wormer & you can purchase pretty much anywhere.

Now In the vets Nexgard is £60 or there abouts & Drontal is £6. If you visit Pet Drugs Online Nexgard is £20.99!! And Drontal is £1.99! 😳
That is one hell of a saving!

Whether it be Advocate, Milbermax or Nexgard these are available to purchase from Pet Drugs Online with a prescription from your vets which is super easy to get! And will save you 💰

It is crucial your furyy best friend has a regular worm & flea treatment to keep them healthy & happy 🥰
Insisted worms can cause an incredible amount of intestinal damage which can even lead to death in a dog! 🥺

Please please be careful what you give to your dogs this Christmas 🎄 what we think may just be a little treat is infact very harmful to our fur babies 🥺

🚫TOXIC CHRISTMAS FOODS FOR DOGS 🚫

🍫 CHOCOLATE 🍫
The most common clinical signs of ingesting chocolate are vomiting, diarrhea, increased thirst, panting or restlessness, excessive urination, and racing heart rate. In severe cases, symptoms can include muscle tremors, seizures, and heart failure.

🦴 COOKED BONES 🦴
Be wary of feeding them cooked turkey, goose and chicken bones as they can easily splinter, causing an obstruction and possibly even piercing your dog’s tummy.

🥧 CHRISTMAS CAKE, MINCE PIES & CHRISTMAS PUDDING 🥧
All contain dried fruits such as raisins, currants or sultanas which are toxic to dogs and can cause kidney failure.

🌰 MACADAMIA NUTS 🌰
Even a small amount ingested can lead to vomiting, hyperthermia and muscle weakness.

🧀 BLUE CHEESE 🧀 can cause vomiting, high temperatures, diarrhoea and even seizures.

🧄🧅 ONIONS, LEEKS, GARLIC, CHIVES & SHALLOTS 🧅🧄
Can cause anaemia, look out for signs of lethargy, weakness, pale gums, fainting, reddish urine and decreased appetite.

🍾 ALCOHOL 🍾
Can cause lethargy, respiratory depression, and dangerously low body temperature in dogs.

REMEMBER your Christmas dinner involves a large amount of dangerous foods for your dog, either through being toxic, too salty or too fatty, so please be safe when trying to include your dog on Christmas Day.

If you think your dog may have eaten something that they shouldn’t or they have symptoms including sickness and diarrhoea, speak to your vet straight away.

So at Hewer’s K9 we have a Pate range.
These yummy tubes of meat are fabulous cut up into chunks to give as treats kept in the fridge for treat times or for out on walks.
Also these pate’s are freezable so there is absolutely no waste! Cut off a chunk then pop it in the freezer 🥰

⭐️ What else are these pate’s good for?

Well do you find your dog hates a worming tablet? Or if they are on medication getting that tablet down.
Look know further as these will do the job! Cut off what you need & pop the rest in the freezer for next time.

Boredom Breaker.

Likit matts are fabulous with these Pate’s! Smear a lovely generous amount on the likit Matt which will have your spoilt pooch amused for ages!
Also these are great put into natural treats & chews such as buffalo horns to help with teeth cleaning 🥰

I have some incredible feed back from our kibble range! Dogs have been loving it 🥰🐾 including my own which as many people know my dogs aren’t easy to feed being fussy & suffering with sensitive tummies.
This kibble is Grain Free also containing high meat & being a hypoallergenic recipe.

⭐️ Molly who i can honestly say is one of the loyalist dogs I have ever had 🥰 my Blenheim King Charles Cavvy ♥️

⭐️ Jimmy our happy tri coloured King Charles Cavvy who we took on 4 years ago as he was being rehomed & is most definitely our little fur 👑 of the house 💙

⭐️ Then we have our newest addition Smidge 🥰 she is a Romanian Rescue who we have only had 5 weeks but she is just adorable & has slotted into our family like she’s been with us forever ♥️
We haven’t done our wisdom test yet but we are all definitely feeling a lot of corgi in Smidges breed history 🥰
