Chilham Boxers It's all for the love of Boxers! We fell in love with the boxer breed in 2001, while living in Arizona. In 2020, we added Miss Daisy, our first show girl.

The next year, we moved back to Texas, we got our first boxer, Belle. She was just a pet, but the very best friend anyone could ask for! It took several years after her passing to add another wiggle-butt to our home. Daisy loves to be in the show ring! We are excited to share our adventure with you!

Our little General strutted his stuff today. Thank you Dallas Boxer Club for putting on 2 nice specialities.

At the first specialty, under Judge Mrs. Paula Nykiel, General was awarded Reserve Winner.

At today’s second show, Judge Mrs. Polly Smith, awarded General Winner’s Dog and his first points!

We are very grateful to both judges for finding this special boy and awarding our first Bred-By points!

My name is Betsy and I am looking for my new home as a SHOW PROSPECT.

I am the biggest of my sisters. I started off being a bit of a bully, but I am learning that doesn’t get me anywhere but in trouble. I am doing better each day learning how to be a good puppy and be sweet to my siblings and the hoomans. I am extremely intelligent and eager to please.

Temperament test preformed by Morgan Conrick:
Betsy demonstrated an exceptional level of resilience and stability during her evaluation. When a large unfamiliar dog unexpectedly overturned the enclosure and chased her, she experienced a brief moment of understandable stress. However, her quick recovery was remarkable—she regained composure within minutes and proceeded to complete her assessment as though undisturbed. Having evaluated over 500 puppies, I can confidently say her ability to bounce back and fully engage is highly uncommon.

Throughout her evaluation, Betsy displayed a strong affinity for human interaction, readily engaging with strangers and showing a natural eagerness to please. She approached each new task with enthusiasm, exhibiting a moderate food drive and balanced sensitivity to visual and auditory stimuli. Betsy remained aware of her surroundings, demonstrating curiosity without becoming overstimulated, and was able to redirect her focus back to her handler with ease.

Despite her earlier encounter, she showed no signs of hesitation when introduced to unfamiliar dogs of varying breeds and sizes. Her willingness to engage positively and confidently combined with her exceptionally stable temperament, making her a strong candidate for a wide array of dog sports, provided she receives the appropriate training and support. With a structured, engaging, and varied training approach the world is her oyster!

Chilham’s American Queen 🤍 “Dolley”

Hi, my name is Dolley, and I am looking for my forever home.

I was the second born of my littermates. You know the saying, “second is best.” They say I am my momma’s carbon copy. So if you know my momma, you know how amazing I am going to be. I am looking to be a great companion for someone that enjoys being outside, but also wants to cuddle on the couch.

Temperament test done by Morgan Conrick:
Dolley is a confident and playful puppy with a friendly disposition. She was very sociable with both unfamiliar people and dogs, showing an eagerness to engage through play or enjoy quiet time with cuddles. While she displayed a slightly heightened environmental awareness, her curiosity led her to inspect every obstacle and item in her surroundings before beginning the test. Allowing Dolley to explore a new environment by walking the perimeter upon arrival will help her feel comfortable and ready to engage, making her a wonderful candidate for outings, including relaxing on a patio.

Dolley exhibited no sight or sound sensitivity and demonstrated resilience, approaching new situations with enthusiasm for play and exploration. She has a moderate food drive, which can be further developed, and her problem-solving skills reflect her independent intelligence. She would excel in sports such as agility or barn hunt, where she could fully engage with obstacles and interact with her environment.

My name is Abigail, and I am looking for my forever home.

I am looking for a loving home with structure. I had a rough start to life, I am the smallest of my littermates. I needed lots of special attention the first few weeks. Because of that, I became accustom to getting one on one attention. I am quite sassy, but I definitely have my sweet moments. I love cuddle sessions.

Temperament Test done by Morgan Conrick:
Abagail is a confident, well-rounded puppy, showing minimal sensitivity to sights or sounds. She demonstrates resilience, and if startled, she quickly investigates and explores the source. Her eagerness to engage is notable, though she tends to work on her terms, indicating that keeping her training sessions varied and stimulating will be essential. Rotating rewards—such as different toys and treats—and incorporating puzzle feeders and brain games will help keep her mentally engaged and motivated.

While Abagail is forward and sociable with both people and other dogs, she is not overly assertive. However, she can be quite demanding, so it’s important to avoid reinforcing behaviors such as barking for immediate attention, which could lead to undesirable habits. Despite her smaller size, Abagail is capable of problem-solving independently, and allowing her to use her intelligence will be beneficial for her development.
