Our puppies for Halloween 🎃 is here!❤️ So excited to introduce them to you guys.
We have spots available, so message us if interested, they’re all Cavapoo Puppies.
I am trying something new with this litter. Normally I do temperament testing around 8-8.5 weeks old with toy breeds per Badass Breeder's protocol, but I recently talked with my trainer and she strongly suggested doing them at 6 weeks old before the puppies start to build their pack order within their litter.
She has a degree in Animal Science and just won the best dog trainer award and I trust her so much. I also trust and love Jeanette Forrey author of Badass Breeders so much). So I decided to test out testing our pups at 6 weeks old with this litter and I have to say I was surprised and impressed with the puppies!
Selfishly for me it is easier to have families pick earlier on so I know my pups have families.
Also it is nice for families to know what puppy they will be getting earlier on to start building attachments and planning ahead for the travel and puppy supplies they need. don't want to sacrifice the accuracy of the temperament test but am hoping that 6 weeks can be a good compromise. I am hopeful that testing at 6 weeks will be accurate and a great thing I can continue to do. I was truly impressed with how well the puppies did at such a young age and they did read true to what I have seen with how they have interacted with their daily activities.

The idea is we test when they are old enough to get a good read but not too old that their tests are thrown by their pack order dynamics that will be changing anyways once they go to their new homes. Follow along to discover and learn with me.
