💜Meet Ms. Marnie.

She is an 8 year old hound mix from NJ.🐾

🥰I just had my 5th visit with this sweet girl.

🏡 Her new family inherited her and they needed help adjusting her to their home.

🥳She is doing FANTASTIC now and is fully acclimated to her new home.

🐈 🐈‍⬛ She has 2 new cat brothers and came with a cat brother as well! She is doing great with them all.

👍For the past few months we worked on slowly adjusting her to the home, remaining respectful to all the cats, staying regulated on walks, learning house boundaries, and adjusting to being alone.

💥Her new guardians never had a dog, so there was LOTS to learn.

🌀We focused on understanding her body language, reading her emotional state, learning her preferences, observing what fulfills her, providing daily enrichment, clear communication, and SO MUCH MORE!

🙏🏻 It’s been a pleasure working with them over the last few months!

Meet Pete 🐾.

This is a special client of mine. I am currently working closely with his new guardians to help rehabilitate him. This sweet boy has found the perfect family - he chose them! ❤️



He was going to be euthanized, but the dedicated adopters decided to take him on and give him the chance he deserves. 🙏 The shelter said that if my client could get him out of the kennel, they could have him.



The staff was unable to handle him in any way after he arrived, and he was having severe behavioral issues. 🚫 Sure enough, when my client showed up to take him, he gladly let them handle him and jumped right into their car. 🚗 It was as if he had known them forever! 😊



Looking forward to being a part of his new journey! 🐾💕

🚙 Taking your dog on a simple car ride can give them such a fulfilling enrichment.

📦 I was just returning some packages at UPS, but for her she had a fun outing.

🌸 She got to smell the fresh spring air, see all the stimulating views, and sit and watch people come and go from the parking lot. She absolutely loved It.

⏰ No extra effort or time on my end to bring her along.

✌️ It’s the simple things that they enjoy.

🐶 I had the pleasure of working with Milo, a handsome 4-year-old 🐾.

When we first started our walk, Milo was pulling hard on his leash, putting about 150 pounds of pressure on his collar 🚶‍♂️.

He wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings or his guardians 🤔.

👍We focused on changing a few things things. I typically recommend switching from a collar to a harness to reduce neck tension 🤯.

This tension triggers the sympathetic nervous system, releasing adrenaline and cortisol, which can hinder a calm walk 🐕 .

Unfortunately, Milo can get aggressive when his collar is touched, so for today we focused on other solutions 🐾.

🚶‍♂️Some things we changed were adding extra length to his lead which helped Milo have a whole new walking experience 🌳.

This allowed him to move naturally without neck tension 🌴.

🐶 Another change was, we used food as rewards and for regulating the nervous system 🧬.

We also lowered his sensory input during the walk by retracing our steps and staying clear of overstimulating environments.

By providing positive associations and calming influences, Milo focused and relaxed 😌.

📚 I educated Milo's guardians on his natural biology, psychology, and body language 📖.

Now, they can better understand and guide him 🐾.

It was amazing to see the transformation in just one workshop!

🔊 It's time for a wake-up call. We need to recognize that dogs are not our possessions, but rather individuals entrusted to our care. Their lives, emotions, and needs are their own, deserving of our respect, empathy, and priority.

🐕 For too long, we've taken their loyalty and love for granted, neglecting their voices and prioritizing our own convenience. As their caregivers, we have a responsibility to acknowledge the profound sacrifice they make for us. In exchange for our care and support, they are forced to relinquish their freedom, their autonomy, and their natural instincts - not by choice, but by circumstance.

💞 It's a profound trade-off, and one that demands our empathy and compassion. We must listen to their voices, prioritize their emotional needs, and make lifestyle adjustments to ensure they can thrive – not just survive – alongside us.

☮️ This may require sacrifices and changes to our daily routines, but it's a small price to pay for the unwavering devotion and companionship they provide. Let's reclaim our role as guardians and advocates for dogs, honoring their emotional lives and striving to create a world where they can live with dignity and joy.
