Today the Burrowing Owl went to his new home where he will be very busy and much loved. He has 8 and 10 year old girls to share adventures with for many many years! His new name is Vandy!
This video and the others in comments are from today. His Grandmother, Mother, Uncle and unrelated sister will miss his antics!!

It's a long one but it eventually shows Harper and puppy both holding the ball. Puppy thinks it's great fun to get the ball and run!! Harper is so patient and I'm delighted to see all of them playing together!!

A birdie told me there's one owl looking for his permanent nest. Through no fault of his own he needs to find a new nest as the original dog in his new house was not at all happy with his presence. He's smart, willing and eager to learn and please. He's a sweet sweet boy. Some owls like to perch on the top of a Christmas tree but this owl is looking for the right nest!! ❤️🦉❤️

And now we're down to one puppy until he leaves early tomorrow morning. He had some special time with his Mum and was able to entertain himself with his chewie!!
It was a hard day with all the goodbyes even though I know they are all great homes.
After a few days of cleaning and rest we'll be back at agility and all the other doggy activities!!!

Things are winding down here. Tomorrow 3 puppies leave and the 4th one leaves early Wed morning. Aria will miss her little friends, me too❣️

The Barred Owl was kissing me good bye, and kissing me and kissing me and kissing me and kissing me!!! He's such a happy and enthusiastic boy!

Snowy Owl went to her forever home today and the reports are she's settling in very nicely💕

This is the calm AFTER the storm!! You might notice there are no p*e pads in the pen. There were. It was a group effort to shred them and play tug of war with pieces of them. What a mess😱🫣🧐

Trust me they had a busy day outside and a few went on singular rides in the car in a plane travel crate which went extremely well. These are evening photos of calmer puppies! 😉🙃 Last photo is of Spotted Owl aka Mara modeling her new coat!

Jazz still insists on nursing these hooligans a few times a day. I actually think she's using these as training sessions regarding bite strength and respect. 😁
Crate training is going well. Last night I woke them up after 5.5 hours and transferred them to the puppy room playpen. They went back to sleep after a visit from Jazz for another 2+ hrs.

P. S. Both Archie and Mara are settling in very nicely in their new homes!!
