This weekend was full of barrel racing and WINNING! Congratulations to my student who won 1st in the 3D in the youth division. She is walking away with a full set of splint boots, bell boots, a new hat and some money! I I truly believed I was meant to be a coach because I get more excited for my students when they win then when I win! Lol!

Congrats pretty girl, super excited for you and Mr. Styx’s and your future in the barrel racing world 🤠🐴🙌🏼🥂🎉

Hello. CP horse training followers. Hope everyone is enjoying this cooler weather we are having. I’ve been so busy getting my students ready for shows, barrel races and kid play days I haven’t been able to give any shout-outs.

Im so excited for this team. Rheese and Styx’s are finally starting to figure each other out. Not only were they able to make a clean run at the Rtm Ranch Jackpot last Tuesday night but they walked away with her first check together. 🤠🙌🏼💰

And just like that summer is coming to an end and kiddos are heading back to school. 📚

This summer has been filled with ALOT of sun,(Texas humidity is no joke 😅) Ive been able to train some pretty talented horses 🐴 I’ve laughed laughed and laughed some more , made many unforgettable memories and of course being able to follow my dream and create a business teaching horse riding lessons has been one of the biggest highlights 🤠❤️🐴

I’d say my first full summer in TX has been a success. 🙌🏼

Good luck to all my students as you start school, work, etc. I’m ever so thankful I’ve been able to be a small part of your journey 🤠💗🐴😊

Mimi has only been taking lessons with me for almost 2 months now and she is already loping circles. We’ve been working on keeping her eyes up looking where she wants to go and keeping her heels down. She is doing amazing !!

Chloee here has been taking horse riding lessons with me for 6 months now and it’s been so fun to see her confidence, riding skills, and horse knowledge grow over these past few months. It makes my job that much more rewarding 🤠💗💜🐴

Andre 3000 is a mustang here at RTM Ranch and he's so cool! Andre is 10 years old and he was rounded up from Pine Nut mountains Nevada almost 2 years ago. His owner Terry took him in as a project horse and now she is able to ride him all around the ranch 🤠 love this team.

Hi CP and Horse training group. How is everyone doing? I’ve been so busy teaching horse lessons and training horses that I have abandoned my social media pages. So here are some updates.

Giving horse back riding lesson is a huge passion of mine. I love sharing the western lifestyle with the younger generations. This is Bryce. He is also a first generation cowbo. Bryce wants to be a Saddlebronc Rider one day but until than he said he wants to learn how to ride a “broke” horse 🤠🙌🏼🤗

Here is a little practice run with my new horse Memphis. He’s been in training now with me for a full 30 days and has made so much improvement already.

Sweet Kai is almost at her 60 day mark that she has been in training with me and she is doing amazing!

Today we worked on simple leads and she figured it out so quickly that I decided to ask for a flying lead change and within a few try’s she got it!

Kate rescued her beautiful paint horse River about two years ago and they just recently conquered the new goal together… Loping. 🙌🏼 🤠 🥰 this team has came such a long ways and it’s so fun to be a small part of their journey 🤠🙌🏼🥰🙏🏼☀️ can’t wait to see what they will accomplish next 🙏🏼

Chloee has big goals of owning her own horse one day. BUT Her mom told her not until she can do everything 100% on her own... 🙃🙃 well it’s safe to say she is on her way of achieving that goal. 🐴😆

Chloee reminds me a lot of myself when I was her age. Determined, loves horses and very independent 🤠

Great job cute girl. 💕😘🤠

Hello friends. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on my training page. The month of December I was in Las Vegas Nevada for the wrangler national finals rodeo, then I had a very dear friend pass so that was a hectic month for me but with the new year (and new phone 😉) I’m back 🤠

Happy thanksgiving to all of my CP Horse Training friends, clients and family. I’m so thankful for you all , and that you all have trusted me to work with your beautiful horses! I do sure love my job 🥰

I also wanted to share some exciting new that happened ... Kate Gilbreath and her horse River set a goal and yesterday they accomplished this goal together!! Kate built up enough confidence to LOPE on sweet River Girl 🙌🏼🥰🐴 for the first time ever! AND SHE DID AWESOME! It was so so cool to watch.

And to think it was only 6 months ago she didn’t think she would ever be able to ride River.. I’m so glad Kate stuck with her goal and didn’t give up on our River Girl 🐴❤️ the future is bright for this pair!

Today was Mr. Memphis’s 4th day of training but it was only the 1st day we worked the barrel pattern.

He has some long strides and tight turns which both usually make a great barrel horse. I’m excited to see the progress he will make during these next 30 days in training. 🤠🐴♥️

River and I had a visitor during our ride yesterday morning. River is such a easy going horse nothing can phase her. 🤠🐴♥️ not to mention she is the biggest sweetheart.

(Notice how lose her reins are, she is slowing figuring out to listen to my body and not rely on full bit pressure anymore) 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Meet Blondie 🐴 Blondie is a 7 years old, mustang from Nevada, her owner Heather got her from the TIP program. Blondie was rounded up when she was about 6 months old and spent 5 years in a BLM facility. Heather has owned Blondie for 2 years now.

Heather is working on desensitizing Blondie for pleasure riding and has future goals of barrel racing. ♥️

Kate Gilbreath here is an update of Rivers training video. I felt bad that I hadn’t sent you an updated video recently so of course I took this video on a chilly morning when I only had some colorful sweats in my truck. Lol so try and look past the purple and pink outfit 😂🙈

River is doing awesome, and has progressed tremendously since her and I have started working together and I’m so excited to see what is she capable of in the future.

This morning was a little chilly in Texas and had all the horses feeling fresh, especially Angel girl. I was able to catch a little of it on video.

Angel and I have been working on moving forward with pressure and loping circles as you can see in this video she has a little bit of an attitude as well 😉🤠but she is still one of my favorites

Handsome Zeus and I had a great ride this morning bright and early ☀️☀️🤠🤠 he’s a big gentle giant and is so much fun to ride.

Today we worked on walking - trotting and loping big and small circles each way.
