A woman called, concerned about her border collie mix, whose energy was really low. She asked me to check his internal systems to figure out what was going on. It was time to change his diet, coming away from grains to more protein and moisture. His current diet was causing hardship throughout the entire body. He also was in need of a couple of reiki sessions, and his mom was happy to oblige. I shared the plan with the dog, who said, "Yes, thank you. I need help." I assured him help was on the way, which provided him comfort.

"Does he like going to work with me?" asked the man of his corgi mix. "I love my job, and I want to keep doing it," the dog answered, feeling very strongly about his job. The dog continued, "This is part of why I'm here, and I take it very seriously." He loved helping his dad and his clients and showed me how he moves energy, keeping the space free of stuck "ickyness." So, both were happy with the arrangement and promised that it would remain the same.

"What do you think of my dog?" the lady asked her crossed-over cat. The cat rolled his eyes at the question, and both the woman and I laughed. "He's a clown, and he'll be alright. More worried about him (her other cat)," he added. The lady explained that the other cat had some health issues and was on a special diet. "Don't worry about him too much, Mom. This won't last forever. Just a bump in the road," remarked the crossed-over cat. "Thank you, Mike. I love you always," stated the lady.
