It was bloody heavy. The old washer dryer to go out and both the dryer and washer to come in.

When you get home from work, clean litter boxes have a shower and put on fresh clothes to go do cat food shopping and street feeds but need to send an urgent email and the only place the internet works is in the cat enclosure. Sonout you go and sit on the leather couch and feel something cold on your bottom - the cats had peed there. Filthy bloody vermin these cats are. No excuse for it. Grrrrr. Shower number 3 and 3rd set of clothes. Pick up my washer dryer tomorrow afternoon. Can’t come soon enough 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

Home ftom the street feeds s as me birds seed put in the reserve behind my property and possums fed their fruit and nuts and bunnies their greens and carrots.

Just need to scoop out poops from the trays i cleaned before i went to do street cats so they’re all clean for the night and pray to God they don’t start crapping in the clean trays again the minute i’m in bed and about to drift off to sleep like last night because I can smell a poo from 3 rooms away 😖

I had maybe 2 hours as it went on all freaking night last night. WTF they have to use the trays in my room I have no idea. It’s for the timid cat Nala who won’t leave my room but now the others seem to take delight in stinking out my room every night 🤬 Arseholes 😂 Or the one in the laundry right near my bedroom 😷

Thank you to Heather Ashman for helping me to buy a second hand washer and dryer I am getting picked up from a local older couple tomorrow. The dryer is a heat pump dryer so very economical with a 5 star rating and the washer a front loader - both Miele. Nothing like German engineering.

So very grateful and blessed after being without both for over a year. I do so much washing with these cats and i have lately been handing washing and hand-wringing everything out with my arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome is agony.

At the laundromat doing the washing. Cat enclosure got flooded again and all covers and lounges got saturated 😭

The cats all got sick the last time. Now they’re sneezing again as the dumb dumbs still laid on the wet cushions 🙄

It would seem FB/META are now blocking my posts as they don’t want me running a sanctuary page ftom FB accusing me of selling animals ffs. As you all know I neither rehome or sell any of the cats. That’s what a sanctuary is.

One of the admins got an email below

How this is sensitive or is selling animals I don’t know 🤬 but it’s clear they are trying to stop anyone running rescues or rehoming from FB as FB/META arent getting a cut from donations this way 😡🙄

Street feeds done, home at 12.40 am to feed this lot late (they had platters of good quality dry and ate brekkie late at 12.30pm today so they were fine. Trays were emptied before i did shopping this afternoon but i had to empty them again just now. Possums all fed and bunnies and food out in back reserve for the birds in the morning.

There were great savings at Bunnings today. Fancy Feast 24pk $20 all ranges - pate poultry beef and fish, tins with cheddar cheese, kitten pate and Seafood in gravy. Fine foil packs 28 $22 and Felix $28 box 36.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP. RECEIPTS ATTACHED. The strawberries are not mine. I cut them up with bananas and apples for the possums.

I’m sorry to ask for help but it’s getting harder and harder. I have to do the street feeds tonight and tomorrow night and I have $5 in SCS bank account and my own account is in debit.

It take $60 every trip down and back to do all locations and that doesn’t include food. As you know I’ve been very sick for almost 3 weeks now with pneumonia and a secondary infection. I’m struggling through my work day, shopping, caring for all the cats here and back to doing the steeet feeds.

If you don’t donate regularly would you please consider helping to feed and pay the fuel and tolls. I travel 260km return trip to feed the cats in all locations 230km when i only do one area that has 5 locations. $5 Fridays are a big help to me but it literally feeds the cats at the sanctuary 1 out of 7 days and the rest I am footing the bill. I’m so far behind in my utility bills I’ll be lucky to not be disconnected. I have had to buy a vacuum cleaner this week and have t had a washing machine or dryer in a year. It burnt the motor out with all the washing I need to do so I’m back to the laundromat. That single visit is $120pw. This is key to keep fleas away. I have to treat all the cats for fleas and worms this coming pay day and I will be 1 week down after being so sick and unable to work last week.

Things are a constant struggle these days for everyone. I understand but I can’t even buy my medicines today - blood pressure, migraine, cholesterol (it’s hereditary not dietary) and anti anxiety (that i’m not meant to stop but havent had for 3 days as it chemically alters your brain and I suffer chronic severe anxiety (if you lived this life you would understand lol).

If you don’t normally help would you please consider helping. I’ve had to stop door dashing as tax takes more than i was earning as a second job higher tax rate. Thank you for your kindness. There’s over 1500 followers on my page but less than 12 people donate regularly each week. $5 Fridays only really work well if everyone contributes. It’s better than nothing and I’m certainly very grateful to those wonderful people that do. I don’t go out to cafes or restaurants, I do t even get a solid meal once a day. There’s nowhere for me to cut back. I go without almost e everything people consider a necessity and ironically the people who help me are the ones who do the same . Thank you 🙏

I have had to change the page name slightly in an effort to stop META from deleting my page like they did to a huge rehoming pound in Sydney’s West. It is messaging other pages telling them to delete my page or they will also be deleted - it’s saying I’m either selling animals or rehoming which we all know I do neither of but FB is totally effed so i’ve had to get around it adding a dash after Sanct-uary in an attempt to overcome this ridiculous rubbish that META has created.

I’m just letting you know that it is me. It was just approved so effective immediately for the change of name. The correct name is still in my profile pic.

I’m off to bed. It’s been a really trying week after being so sick with pneumonia, missing my mate’s funeral on Thursday, the enclosure getting flooded AGAIN (problems with stormwater pipes and run off from gutters in big downpours has nowhere to go and is banking up in the down pipe causing a waterfall effect along the new roof line where it attaches to the house so all the lounges pillows well everything got saturated and now cats are sick then I got smacked in the head with one of the enclosure tree posts (a big one moved by the plumber and not put back and I didn’t notice in the dark) and ended up with concussion and a busted eye nose and lip as it came flying at me like a battering ram.

I’m overtired and hanging out for Christmas break because I’m completely and utterly exhausted like a sopping wet old rag wrung out and left to dry out. That’s how I feel with my life right now - like it’s passing me by and there is no joy in it just hard work every single day.

Of course that’s not really the way it is. It’s just how I’m feeling right now because as usual everything hits me at once and I’m overwhelmed.

I’ve had a lot of Marvellous things to be thankful for - the enclosure for the cats, my job, the new lease (even if it is nowhere near what I was promised- life isn’t promised as my mate Gaz found out 🥺). So I am grateful for all these blessings. I’m just so very very tired so it blocks my vision.

Those who know me know the insane journey I make every night to feed the street cats. If you don’t donate to $5 Fridays would you please consider helping to get these cats desexed to at least stop the breeding cycle and find foster carers for them to get them off the streets?? Unfortunately, the plan of bringing them down here to the sanctuary can’t happen now tgat i have been given cat limits by the landlord. I need to do something as zi can’t keep this insanity up forever. 🙏
