You can place you and your horse on a training schedule..but that will just break down the true meaning of being with your horse. Random 15 minutes and loosing track of time with a small achievement goal is better for your soul.

It's not always about demanding a good ride or perfection. Sometimes it's just taking a minute to be... if your needing a session with me..I do travel and I can bring an obstacle. This one was designed for young horse's. But this mare Harriet is older..and getting geared up for dressage shows this summer.

To get a young horse..or in this case balance point farms stallion ..Theo to not expect a cookie for everything. We work him at a free lunge. No cookies..Then afterwards we play with this ball. He was afraid of it at first. Now he does push it with a hand signal. You don't need anything special..it can be a follow me game. But separating work and play..brings higher learning to a horse. A young horse or rehab horse that has anxiety can certainly start with this..and with time you can add real work. Growing positive experiences really helps to create a confident horse. Starting small and being a short session that you keep growing is more powerful than a long tiring stressful situation where you are waiting for a release. Bring the release to the horse yourself! So they can gift it back to you!

Teaching riding is an art form as is riding and training. I've studied beyond just basic riding and training. Classical training is my love..and from that I have encorporated..The body techniques of geometry of the horse and rider. The environment of feng shui..the zen of allowing information to come to you and soo much intuition. Our horse's did not read a book and as much as I love reading and studying..our horse's environment and previous life create a lock sometimes that without other tools..you can spend a lifetime of frustration on. I'm just here doing my work as a breeder...and enjoying every moment I can that life has gifted me. If you have a horse your riding and are looking for more I may be the key to unlock the potential your horse has.

Learning long lining...When you study other aspects of in hand classical work..The transition to learn another layer can be seamless. What's required is Learning from another person who teaches like you do. Megan Hamilton helped me. I just watched one clinic. What did I receive from auditing...positive feedback..and what I love..light connection that you can work with ...on many different levels. Never stop learning!

Just taking a minute to explain..I've had about 5 years off from teaching. I snuck in a few lessons..and actually maybe it was longer than 5. But we will call it five for sanity sake. In that time we developed our small breeding program and built an indoor. We are by no means complete. Our plans are numerous. But it's time to get back to teaching.
My goals in life are numerous..my passion is helping people find the keys to learning.
I emphasize luaghter comfort and awareness. I love exploring how you and your horse interact. How to develop with the easiest ways possible. Without harm to human or horse. I'm deeply rooted in training..Training happens from any aspect..to me it could be just breathing near a horse to..learning an aid...
I've studied balanced western riding...it's how I started..to natural horsemanship. Dressage has been a love ❤️ and I so deeply don't care what breed or discipline..it's all the same to me. I spent several years studying Mary Wanless. That brought me to have one of her long term students to teach clinics years ago..Sibley Hannigan. Then feeling pieces missing I went on to meeting Sally Swift working with Sally on her book..looking at photos..making her decisions easier...on her second book. Countless hrs of video taping clinics and traveling to Austria with Lucile Bump while she taught instructors..in two locations. Lucile has been very helpful. I became a level 2 cr instructor I'm no longer a centered riding instructor..time let it go...
I also rode in three clinics with François Lemaire de Ruffieu.. again video taping auditing. All while building our current home and barns. Training teaching and riding. My journey continues.

We allow truck ins...and we currently do not provide lesson horse's.

Clinics are available off farm. Where I teach a day of body work for humans..ground work for horse's and undersaddle the following day. I am flexible..with your training needs.
