Happy Derby Day, and what a beautiful one it is! ☀️ The sun shines bright on our Old Kentucky Home. The family and I are spending the weekend at Kentucky Cowtown Arena, for the RMHA youth camp. I enjoy teaching about the importance of proper dental work for your horses. Take care of your horse, and they'll take care of you! These kiddos sure soaked it up!

Extracted 2 1/2 year, pre-molar caps today. The lower caps are more narrow than the upper caps, due to the root system. The lower teeth only have two roots, while the upper teeth have 3 roots. Notice in the pictures how the lower caps are more narrow.

Welcome to Performance Equine Dentistry. My name is Phil Flynn, CEqD. I am a FULLY TRAINED and CERTIFIED Equine Dentist. I attended the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Glenn's Ferry Idaho. I am passionate about my field, and work to improve the health and performance of every horse. I work on all breeds of horses. I also travel to you, whether you are in Kentucky or another state. I also offer clinics. I love to teach others of the importance of Equine Dentistry.
