PSA 📣🌷💐

There is the most beautiful tulip farm in Sparta, TN that is PET FRIENDLY!!!!!

Most of them only have “dog days” which means that specific day is FULL of dogs. Which is great if you have a social butterfly.

However, if you have a neutral pup, or you just don’t like being around 100 other dogs, this place is fantastic!

• Turn mealtime into a training session. 🍖🐶
Ask for a “sit” or “wait” before setting the bowl down to build patience and impulse control.

• Doors are a great training tool. 🚪🐕
Have your dog “wait” before going outside to prevent bolting and reinforce self-control.

• Leash up with purpose. 🎽🐾
Practice calm behavior before walks by rewarding your dog for sitting still while you clip on the leash.

• Car rides can reinforce good manners. 🚗🐶
Teach your dog to wait before jumping in or out, preventing overexcitement and unsafe behavior.

• Use greetings as training. 👋🐕
Have your dog “sit” before being pet by guests to prevent jumping and encourage polite interactions.

• Keep training sessions short. ⏱️🐶
Aim for 5-10 minute sessions to keep your dog engaged—quality over quantity!

• Frequent, fun sessions work best. 🎾🐾
Several short sessions throughout the day are more effective than one long, exhausting one.

• End on a high note. 🎉🐕
Stop training before your dog gets bored or frustrated, so they stay excited for the next session.

• Adjust for age and breed. 📊🐾
Puppies and high-energy breeds may need shorter but more frequent training, while calmer dogs may focus longer.

• Make learning easy to digest. 🍖🧠
Break complex commands into smaller steps so your dog doesn’t lose interest or get confused.

• Watch for signs of boredom. 😴🐕
