PIG HUNTERS chase down and steal another dog in Ba
Note that this vehicle transports stolen dogs, be aware of it.

We know enough about the cruelty in these pig hunting villages to speak against this barbaric behavior.

When you see a dog being stolen raise your voice and demand that they release the dog, call the police.

These dogs are not theirs to take and abuse by STARVING AND CHOPPING OFF THEIR EARS & TAILS!
Please be their voice.

Keep your dogs safe, they are looking for healthy and strong dogs.
They even enter people's compounds and steal dogs. BE ALERT

Thank you team, last week we were able to send $150FJD to help Sai Sai and hoping that each month we will be able to send our little token to help feed the stray and a little extra to spay and neuter some of the fur babies on the streets.

Animal abuse needs to stop!
Animal cruelty needs to stop!
We need better laws in protecting the animals from such monstrous acts!

Some Fijians not all needs to be educated on how to take proper care of their pets, learn the responsibilities of pet ownership.
When thinking of owning a pet, consult with all your family members first and make sure that all are on board and then help them know and understand that having a pet is a commitment.
Not a one year commitment but a long term one.

When it’s time to go get a pet, check out out your local shelters first.

ADOPT NOT SHOP‼️

Please be mindful and adopt the pet that suits you and your family needs. If you work and children go to school then don’t get a puppy because they will need a lot of attention and training for the first year and a half. They will also need extra walking and running time to get most of their energy out so my best advice is to get a middle age dog who is not so active and love children.
Also remember to meet the need of your dog, they can’t be a hyperactive or a puppy if you can’t invest the time and training for them.

When you first get a pet, take them to a Vet. See if they any allergies or health problem that will need you to be mindful of.
Get them spayed or neutered.
Ready to start house and obedience training immediately. Trust me this is the best thing ever you could give your pet and especially yourself.

Make it a commitment that at least you will get your pet checked once a year, at least a minimum.
Get their teeth, Weight, skin and overall checked up.

You either train your dog or get people who are expertise in this field to help you and your pet best affiliate and build trust including your family members as a whole.

When pets are treated with respect, kindness and love...they will reciprocate with trust, they will protecti you and your family, they will be the most faithful and all they want to do is to be part of your family and please you till they day they die.
When pets are not trained, you can’t expect them to obey you and act like a well behaved one.
That’s when people will abuse, neglect sometimes kill them from the pictures we have seen lately.

Teach your children that your pets are not your slaves or 24/7 surveillance, they also need love. Real love that makes you hurt if someone is not being nice to them.

One thing, I also want to say is that please don’t adopt if you can’t commit to protecting and loving them till the day they take their last breath.

I also urge you to not adopt if you have too many responsibilities in your life and you do not have someone else to share the responsibilities to help take care of your dog when you are gone for a long period of hours for work, have newborn babies and younger children and being a frequent traveller.

Too many dogs are euthanized each day because the facilities have to make room for the new comers.

Animals breathe the same air as we breath in, they also need love, respect, kindness, proper care and our devoted attention. We owe these beautiful creatures so much. They deserve better!
We can do better! We can love better!
We can be the voice to the voiceless.

I want to help in keeping our animals safe and protected in Fiji. Will you help me join forces with the Animal Control/Vets/Shelters/Animal Rights Advocates in Fiji?
