NEWS FLASH: the honeybee colony has accepted (ie not killed) the new queen! ❤️🐝👑 We released her into the hive today after a little test (see video) and on Friday we’ll add a second deep box to give her even more space to lay more eggs and build this colony back to its former glory.
Headed to our bee mentor’s house now to learn how to do hive splits. Moss grows not on a rolling stone.
Today we bottle fed the day-old runt triplet goat kid for the first time…and our 9-month old Akbash livestock pup, Kiki, was on cleanup duty. Did you know that goat does only have two teets? When triplets or quadruplets are born, which is rare, there’s always an odd man out. We’ll need your help feeding these triplets over the coming weeks. Email us to reserve your visit today: [email protected]
Note updates coming tomorrow, but here’s a sneak peek of what we’ve been doing all night 🙏🏻❤️
