Bee high-rises are going gangbusters heading into fall, thanks in large part to our late-blooming pollinator garden planted by spring’s students, and some favorable weather for mite treatments following our honey harvest.

I’ve always heard that a mother couldn’t possibly pick her favorite child…but I’m almost sure Kiki the livestock guardian has. She and this little white female are attached at the hip. 🥰 Did I mention the pups were born on Mother’s Day? 🥰

The heat hasn’t slowed us down a bit this week. Our largest ever camp group is shaping up to be the hardiest and most cohesive group of farm friends yet 🥰❤️ Feeling blessed, feeling alive and feeling so confident in our new skills and friendships…but still quite sweaty 🤣😂😅

Today we were able to sneak in a surprise pool party for the campers thanks to the help of my beautiful and generous friend, Ms. Andrea 🙏🏻Needless to say, it went over well! 💦🏊

July 2nd 1-day campers: get ready for some amazingly unique experiences at camp! In addition to the usual debauchery (horseback riding, cuddling livestock puppies, stock tank and sprinkler games, friend-making), I’m excited to announce that we’ll be harvesting berries all around the farm as well as bottling several frames of honey from the hives!! ❤️🐝
