Everyone please meet Prince 👑 he is my own pet. I’ve decided to take time for myself the last few months and this was a decision I made recently was to add my own addition and to hopefully open up to dog sitting again soon.

Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to move and I am unable to continue dog sitting for now.

Brekken -proven guilty for being a hairy beast 😜
I asked myself who is hairier between him or Luna but with this bushy tail I think we have a winner haha due to the length as well as amount. I brush him every second day 😅

I had a nice time with Brekken over the last 2 weeks ish. Tomorrow, he heads home and I’m off house sit for a new client!
Be prepared for more cute dogs 💕

Clover left this morning but we had a full house for a bit due to drop off of Bailey for the weekend 💝
Brekken is here for long-term care until I head to a clients home for house sitting 🏠
I have limited availability for boarding during August but I’m still accepting daycare clients !

Today I brushed Luna and even her owner was surprised to see how much hair came off!
Happily taking care of Luna for the next week but I am still open to take another friend as well now or anytime in July 🙂

Dexter and I had a wonderful day at Alberta Beach as well as lots of cuddles ! His short visit is over now but I hope to see him again 🥰

Todays adventure was accompanied by Izzy, a new doggy daycare visitor in my home ! 🏠 she is 2 year old German Shepherd Dog that is still working on some training but listens fairly well and is super friendly with everyone.

We went to the Inglewood dog park to play fetch as well as stopped at Canadian Tire nearby for just over an hour today ☺️

Why should clients use Rover ?
1. 24/7 support/ access to vet advice during the booking - this is typically for longer stays. For example, clients who are out of the country and or work and aren’t always responsive. As much as we try our best to avoid, emergencies do happen, as responsible sitters we want to ensure that we are prepared for this. This should create client peace of mind knowing we are on top of situations before they even occur.
2. Showcases my details/experience as well as the pets details/requirements -Rover allows me to showcase information about myself and the environment I work in. As well as it allows clients to put in the info on their pet including care requirements, and vet information. This ensures that both myself and the clients can try our best to make sure that the request is a good fit both on my end and for the animals requirements. I always ensure to talk with clients about animals needs as things can be missing, however this does help organize things a bit for us pet sitters/ walkers !

Why do I use rover ?
1. Security of payment- This platform was created to help organize services we offer as individuals. I am not a business owner, it is unsafe for me to do cash deals with new clients. In order to form a legally binding contract it takes time and possibly hiring a business lawyer to help with the contract drafting process. When I decide to do this I will go through the process professionally but as of now Rover is my choice of option as I feel the safest doing so.
2. Organizes bookings - Rover has the option of having a cancellation policy for us pet sitters/walkers. As much as I understand that things come up, I need to make sure I am notified within reasonable time as cancellations do effect my time/ availability to work with other clients. I specifically offer one on one options for pets who need this however this specifically makes it harder for me. Rover also helps with keeping pending/upcoming bookings organized in a tab to ensure there isn’t overlapping that can’t be handled.

Stopped at my moms house for a short walk with her dog, Riley.
Riley has some health issues so her walks are modified to ensure she gets her daily exercise but we don’t over do it 🐾

Introducing Wolfie 🐺🤍

Wolfie is the newest attendee at .foraclause ! Since Wolfie is a Siberian husky he isn’t as effected by the extreme weather warning.. I on the other hand am… brrr 🥶

If we aren’t outside exploring , Wolfie likes to come and get extra pets or look outside the window & admire the beautiful snow that he adores ! 🥰
