In order to block off the mud pit/cesspool at the back of the park I bought some 5’ high chicken wire and a metal post to block it off…hoping to get some help to put it up. Was thinking noonish either on Saturday or Sunday. TIA!

Hey everyone! I’m hoping you can spare a few minutes to email the City about addressing the gate issues. My assumption is that if enough people speak up, they’ll do something about it!

I’m also going to put up some chicken wire to address the gap issue, and try and fix the other gate that doesn’t open in the mean time 😊

Sharing some City of Pembroke info available on its website:

1. For complaints, lost, or found pets: Animal Control Services for the City of Pembroke are contracted out to PRO-TEC 5 Inc. who can be contacted at 613-504-1550 or by email at [email protected]

2. For issues pertaining to the park itself: to report a maintenance issue, please email [email protected].

3. City's dog tag price has gone up by $5 for 2022 from $15 to $20 (website isn't current). Prices increase further after March 15th. Tags for the Bark Park are still $10. You can go to City Hall (8am-4pm) or there is an online form available online that you can mail in.
