Mahm has been so busy lately, yada yada she said. But she finally convinced me to update this page for you, my small but mighty tribe of friends. (CBC followers may well know the ‘mighty’ reference!).

So mahm stepped back from social media for a bit … well, mine, anyway. Oh my gawd this summer’s been so boring! Even with her around. Barely any photo shoots with me, food sampling, long romps to the p*e park. Thank god she remembered I exist and I have fans! (Last check, 5.) 🙃

She had foot surgery in the spring, so my long walks went proof. Poor her, but that was irksome as suddenly she had trouble navigating her surgical shoe in the snow. She sometimes still limps, what a wuss.

My rescue siblings Savannah and Scoutie are with their aunties. They are the best aunties I know, I’ll visit next time. 💕🐶

Mahm asked me to house sit and look after my canine pal Koda for a few days. It’s going well, we played all night and mahm is apparently exhausted. 😈🐶

Mahm forgot to put away the Christmas cushions, so of course I’ll take my hourly nap on this one. It’s a life goal to snooze in every possible spot every day. Plus, daylight savings has messed up my schedule. But, look at me go! The last photo is me commandeering dad’s jackets as he tried to leave the house. This strategy was not successful. 😁 😈

Well. I showed up at Pet Planet University District with my mahm, but they weren’t open yet! Look at me mope at my reflection. Once we had wangled our way in, we nabbed some tasty dried duck feet, beef stick candy canes and ORIJEN Dog treats. We’re almost 10 months old and the best food is still from this outlet and Pet Planet Kensington.

Mahm and Dad are off to and they aren’t bringing me. I’m making sure they know I am not impressed. Sure, I’m congenial … and a new doggie, so I’m allowed some leeway! Pooh. #

Mondaying is hard. Playing and napping are exhausting. Add in eating, pooping outside (did you hear about our monsoon!?) and chomping at mahm when she won’t give me my way boooo! Stay dry, furriends.

Mahm called me a nut yesterday. Not Bean, one of my nicknames (when I was littler I looked like a legume, apparently). Puhleeze. Well, she keeps throwing my ball with it’s super-cool launcher. But I have more fun goring them into submission vs using them to play fetch. And watching mom chase me around to collect the felt from the balls. It’s pretty cute. Haha.🤣

I got to chase my pink KONG toy off leash today. Mahm tried to teach me to fetch, but it was a lot more satisfying watching her do the retrieving. Heh heh. I got to blow off some puppy energy and now I’m pooped! Also, I love this bed from Pet Planet Kensington! 🥱

We had the best day this week touring . So many nice people - I think one sweet lady wanted to take me home. I got tired and mahm had to carry me, I also fell asleep on the bus. So many great conversations - “Can I take your puppy’s picture?” and “oh my god” seem to be common phrases in this community. 😊 We stopped at our fave local merchants - Pet Planet Kensington, Sunnyside Art Supplies, Regal Cat Cafe … then we paused by a Neuron.mobility scooter. I’m only five pounds so I couldn’t reach the handlebar thingy, but I love how this org provides helmets for riders! Please stop by and say hi if you see us!
