Gonatodes albogularis fuscus

One of my favorite species of my collection because :

it is with this species that my passion for Gonatodes started

I learned to know them, to study their behavior, but above all it is a gift given to me by one of the most beautiful people around me today.

I have made as many mistakes and successes as I fully assume

today, after training on this species, I have
Gonatodes ocellatus
Gonatodes vittatus
Gonatodes machalae
Sphaerodactylus ruibali

And december ? Sphaerodactylus oliveri and macrolepis mimetes

I make known more and more these magnificent animals in France which greatly deserve to be studied and protected in captivity

Male sphaerodactylus ruibali

This species is endemic to Cuba where it occurs on the southern coast of the province of Guantanamo, from near the coast to about 200 m asl (González et al. 2012).

Listed as Endangered because its extent of occurrence is about 1,420 km2, and although it occurs in several protected areas it is thought to be in four locations, with the unprotected habitat threatened by habitat loss and fragmentation as a result of deforestation for agriculture, logging and livestock farming.
