I’ve been on a bit of an extended break from selling knitwear and yarn for the last year and a half, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been working! One of the things I got a lot of requests for when I was selling was mittens. I only ever made a few pairs because I wasn’t super comfortable knitting them, but I’ve used the break from selling to spend a bunch of time working on my mitten skills. I really, really love a Norwegian style of mittens called Selbu mittens, so I’ve based all my patterns on that style. The fit is really comfortable and colorwork is right up my alley. These are all my yarn, my knitting, and my designs, and I’d love to hear what you think! I’m working on more patterns for more yarn weights, and I’m planning to have these and many others available for sale this fall.
