I know it has been awhile since I updated. I have really been having fun with the Samsung S21 Ultra. It's a nifty little camera.

So after two long years I have reconnected with the outside world. Thank you T Mobile for your service. It's nice to have to be concerned with charging up only one device and one power supply as backup for that device that uses minimal power. It's nice to have internet when I need it and to have phone service again. I guess I will appreciate the reduced power needs even more as days begin to shorten and there is less sun. It's will be nice to catch up on current events or watch a movie now and again.

Did you ever bite into anything softer and encounter something really harsh such as a tiny bone fragment on a pork chop or a hull in something made of flour such as corn chips? Well, I did several weeks ago and actually knocked a perfectly good molar loose. I knew that I would eventually loose it so I waited things out. It really impacted my speech and eating not to mention resulting in a few infections. Well, the tooth finally worked itself out today. Hate to lose a good tooth but it is what it is.

Okay...so you are walking up a trail and up ahead you see someone whose energy and vibes are concerning. You nonchalantly call your dogs and do an about face. You head back down the trail without looking back hoping that the dogs will alert to problems behind you.

Suddenly, a bit down the trail... About fifteen feet ahead and on the opposite side of the trail, the party in question leaps out of the bushes wielding a machete. What do you do? In 3 2 1...

One of the last of the super hot and sunny days before a cool down. I am trying to get some laundry done. Just finished up and then lost my water. The Dept of Highways is working down the road and hit the line. SMH.

Anyhow, I can't really blame them. When I first moved here the water company told me that my street doesn't have public water. Apparently we do. How could the water company inform the DoH about the line when they don't know that their own line exists? Go figure.

My hair is unruly so I always wear a ball cap. A lot of people think that I don't have hair because of that. Well I do.

I had four dogs out on the trail today. I encountered a couple as we were rounding a bend. I grabbed three of the dogs that were most likely to bite and let the fourth dog wander. I assured the people that she was old and wouldn't bother them. The man then asked if they were too tired from walking ten miles to bite. He then said I don't know if the dogs walked ten miles but I know that you do. Lol!

Saw this huge caterpillar today. It was a good three inches long. I hate to see what that thing morphs into.

Stayed off of the trails for a few days over concerns of damage by the big storm. I went today. Found the trail washed out in three spots and some downed trees.

So it seems that my little snapping turtle survived the storm and is STILL living in a puddle outside of my door.

So I just want to mention that the fellow that stopped by today had asked around about me evidently because he said that someone told him that I don't live in the double wide but the small house. Now who knows that about me that knows him and what else did they tell him? Things that make me go hmmmmm!

So remember the two fellows that I ran into on the trail a few days ago? Well, I had a small surprise today. I was playing Wood Sodoku when I heard a vehicle pull up nearby. It was one of the fellas in a big, red, shiny new truck. He had said he would stop down for a visit and Whoomp! There he was. He came bearing gifts from his garden so once more I was blessed with someone else's bounty. We had a nice short visit and he said he would visit again. He raises Matthes Lion Hounds. They resemble Redbone Coonhounds and are used to hunt big game. He has two female pups available. One is about 4 months and the other 6 weeks. He said he would gift me one. We'll see. I don't pay attention to what people say. I look for what they do.

I don't know where all of this water is coming from but the end of my street is under water. They are calling for more rain through tomorrow.
