Copper soon to turn 7 months. He is going to rally classes and doing well. Gets along so well with the other dogs and loves sitting on my lap. He travels well and we go everywhere together. My grooming leaves a lot to be desired but I am working on getting better each time.

A scary thing happened today. Went to make lunch after letting out the dogs and bringing them in. I made my sandwich, a cup of tea and got the treat ready for the dogs. Counted to four and couldn't find the 5th, Copper the almost 5 month old toy poodle. Called and called and was worried the hawks I saw yesterday were around. Panicking, I put on my coat to look outside even though I was sure I had let him in. I started to rush out the door and there he was caught between the door and the screen. It was barely as wide as he was. He didn't make a sound. He couldn't turn around. I didn't know if I should hug him or kill him. Well he is still around.

Copper, a red toy poodle, visited a nursing home with other members of our all breed club, Chambersburg area Kennel Club, where the residents loved holding and petting him. At four months old, he is on his way to becoming a therapy dog. Copper starts his Puppy obedience classes next week and he hopes to compete in obedience in 2024. Copper joins his buddies Echo, Willow, Harper and Ryder wishing you all a HAPPY & HEALTHY NEW YEAR.

Had a very nice weekend at the 4 specialties put on by the Potomac Valley Tibetan Spaniel Club & the Fingerlakes Tibetan Spaniel Club held nearby in Chambersburg PA. On Saturday she took her classes and on Sunday she won Best Puppy in the Sweepstakes and then in the second show, under Judge Sandy Novocin, won an Award of Merit over a large group of exceptional Tibbes. So proud of this very young puppy.

Winwood is proud to announce our newest champion. At just 8 months, Harper is now Ch. Winwood's I'll See You In My Dreams. She is already on her way to her grand. So proud of her!

Harper, at her second day of showing took Winners Bitch at both shows of the Mid-Atlantic Non-Sporting Club of Virginia, Inc. Then took Winners again the second day for a total of 11 points and 2 majors in 2 days.--all out of the puppy 6-9 class. So proud of my little girl. Harper is out of Willow.

This little boy, Bandit, is available to a loving home. He is 4 months old and a sweetheart.
