Simon the red kangaroo
Little Simon the orphan kangaroo came in a couple of weeks ago , sadly his mum wasn’t so lucky & fortunate for him a beautiful family driving past seen him and brought him to me . After some care and hydration Simon was sent to a mob of other red kangaroos , he can grow strong and eventually be released back into the bush 💚🦘At the moment we have 13 young kangaroos 🦘 on bottles but no reds , to ensure the best outcome these orphans must be reared with others of their same kind , the bonds they form are solid and essential to a secure life in the bush .💚🦘
Got a shock when I seen Goliath the shingle back lizard in the water bowl with his head down ..got closer and realised he was asleep and not unalived ..phew 😞😞 it’s bloody hot and even the reptiles are taking advantage of a cool dip in the water bowls 💚🦎
Just a snake visiting our local museum 💚🐍#wildlivesmatter
I don’t mind spiders 🕷️ sharing my space , they have a job to do keeping the place clean of creatures ..as long as they stay hidden .. this beauty took off pretty quick and I haven’t seen him since ..think I scared him
off 🙄 Be kind to every kind 💚
What a beautiful unique snake this python is ..💚🐍
Aww Adam Update
When you bring back a compromised orphan Joey back to full health, every milestone is celebrated with even greater pride .Adam was brought in and sadly hadn’t been fed by the people who took him after shooting his Mum, they didn’t call me intil he was nearly dead, intense care & time brought him back to life . I am so proud he choose to fight to stay alive ..we love you Adam 💚
Check this out ..this beautiful but highly venomous brown snake (Gwardar ) was up on the kitchen bench at a house in town .The home owner hasn’t seen him since and we are hoping he has made his way out . There was a mouse living behind the oven so we think he was there for an easy feed . Have placed down some sand to see if there is any tracks but the homeowner has named him Steve & is hoping he has gone . For those that ask can brown snakes climb ?, he was up on the bench ..=please if you have a snake on your property and you would like it relocated, keep an eye on it from a safe distance & call a snake catcher , most people are bitten trying to relocate a snake with no skill ..💚🐍 as always thanks for caring
It’s been a warm one , Shano and Karen cooling down this arvo 👍🏼💚
Echidnas are such a unique creature , they are one of only two of the monotremes ..the other one is the platypus …these beauties are egg laying mammals .So thankful I get to rehab these special lives ..#echidna #Australia #westernaustralia #iconic #wildlife #ohwhatafeeling
