FOUND/STRAY DOG near Herschel Street, Jacksonville, FL, USA!

*Details: LOST DOG--Found white pit mix at the corner of Dancy and Herschel this morning, has a collar but no tag, very friendly. Not neutered. Unknown if he has a chip, will take to get scanned when a place opens this morning.

Does anyone know who he might belong to or know anyone who could temporarily house him until I am able to find a more permanent home for him? Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

If I cannot find anyone to take him today I will have to drop him at a shelter sadly :( I already have a dog and mine is dog aggressive so I cannot have this sweet boy in my house for very long.

FOUND/STRAY CAT near 5959 Fort Caroline Road, Jacksonville, FL, USA!
*Unknown was last seen on 01/06/2023 near Caroline square apartments

*Details: Grey tabby with stripes. She’s got white paws and emerald green eyes and likes to talk a lot. I found her in a dumpster in the back of my moms apartment complex over on fort Caroline and she couldn’t get out on her own. Once I got her out she followed me back to my moms and cried at the door until I walked her around the corner with a Can of tuna. She came back 5 minutes later and continued to cry. I took her to the humane society to see if they could take her or at least scan her for a microchip but they denied me both services. She seems likes she’s had an owner in the past and maybe just got out one day and never found her way back. She’s very sweet and very loving. I’ve got her in my bathroom for temporary shelter right now but I desperately need help finding her owner!!
