Hi everyone! We’ve had a influx of messages about eggs and chicks! So I wanted to update everyone here!

Our little family is welcoming a new baby any day now, so all hatching and shipping is on hold! Thanks for the continued support of our little homestead and your patience while we make this transition from a family of 4 to a family of 5! I also may be slow To respond to messages and inquiries right now. I’ll try to get back to everyone when I have time!

Don’t worry! We will have more boxes of chocolate chicks available as soon as possible!

We didn’t make it to the show! We so badly wanted to go, but our house was fighting a virus over the weekend!

However this was a chick we hatched from our program! She got Best of Variety! She’s gorgeous Deb! Congrats! Thanks for sharing her success with us!

Going through birds today! I will have a few s*x linked rooster/cockerels available. Will possibly be able to pair with a hen/pullet🍫

This will be the last of my birds to go this year. Shipping will be available. These will be from my chocolate s*x linked breeder pen!

These two are so cute! They are young Mauve splash and chocolate paint pullets we hatched this summer! Can’t wait to use them in our program next spring!

Chocolate Chip Silkie Chicks is done hatching for the 2022 season! It’s almost show time! We will start our incubators back up after the holidays!

Will possibly have a few grow outs available after this month!

We all enjoyed the nice weather today! We even got a few flower beds cleaned out! While these girls begged for some meal worms! 🤣🥰

Side note, they got a bunch. I mean how can I say no to that face?!

Hi! A few years ago we really took the plunge into homesteading. We don’t live on an acreage, or have a huge farm space to work with...YET! Always and maybe forever looking. We do make what we have work!

We have a full and busy house here! We are new homeschoolers as well. Learning through living is something I’m super passionate about!

Our urban farm consists of, 2 dogs, 3 rabbits, chicken math amount of chickens, and a frog! Myself and my husband, and Two little girls Reese and Savvy. And a Huge garden. Flowers,
and produce!

If you’re here you’re interested in the fun little side project going as well! We dove into the world of silkie chickens a few years back. At first, it was a fun hobby. Then we realized the joys of hatching tiny peeps! Which grew to “let’s make this an actual project”! There is so much that is fascinating when it comes to chicken genetics!

From there we dove right into a 🍫Chocolate 🍫silkie project! Head first without looking back! We had a fun hatching season last summer! The girls love their Chocolate Chips!
