Post Adoption: Dagi 🇫🇷

Congratulations to Shine & Donni for adopting Dagi, the Dachshund to their Family!

I met Shine & Donnie & Ruby (🌈) in 2015 with my dog Mansae from Aniband. Shine organized a Japanese tea ceremony in Luxembourg to collect money for 'Sooni', a rescue dog from Korea by that time to bring her over to my Foster Family in 🇱🇺
A few years ago, they moved to France and recently I heard they decided to adopt a new dog after Ruby's passing 🐾❤️ Ruby is the female dog on the last pic with Mansae. Pic taken in 2015/2016.

We wish you well & hopefully Jindo Paws "Mee Hee" with Mansae can meet Dagi soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ FOUND HER HOME IN THE UK ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Let us introduce this beautiful Black Korean Jindo named "오두" ODU (literally means soft player)

Funny story how Odu entered Aniband Gouku Rescue.
Odu found the center by herself. She must have been a farmers dog who lived outdoors. When she arrived and sat infront of the gate, she had a short leash and collar on. She was curious about the barking of the dogs and people on the other side of the gate.

When the volunteers opened the date, Odu ran immediately inside and greeted the people.

There was no owner coming to look for her, nor did she have a microchip, no one claimed to have lost a dog in the neighbourhood, so Aniband Gouku Rescue Center took her in.

Odu is about 1 year young, healthy received her first shots and got a vet visit.
She is still young despite her behaviour and good teeth.

Odu is a 흑구 heukgu - Black Korean Jindo which are not so common in Korea. Most people know the White Baekgu Jindos. Korean Jindos come in different colors.

Mary LOVES Food!

She is overweight but it is not her fault.

Mary was adopted by a lovely owner a few years back. Unfortunately, her owner fought against cancer a long time and could not take care of Mary anymore, no walks.
Mary is a labrador who just by nature loves food. Sadly her owner passed away and Mary was returned to Aniband. When she arrived she was too much overweight and still is today. Aniband volunteer take her to walks and take care of her food portions.

Mary is feeling a bit better. She was a long time in a depressed state, because she did not understand why she could not see her owner anymore and was taken out of her home.

We hope and pray that Mary can live a nice life with a new family. Mary is good wirh everyone, she likes her walkies but not too long ones. She likes to sleep and play with other dogs and belly rubs.

She would be the perfect fit for a retired couple or a family with kids.

With the time, some has passed the rainbow bridge, others became sick, others are living their best life around the World.

We get a lot of questions like.... but I don't have a garden, or I live in an apartment/studio, can I adopt a dog? My answer is why not as long as you provide for the next 15 years for the dog.

Are your Jindos Purebred? - No, they are not. They don't have a pedigree, they don't come from breeders. Most Jindo Dogs are mixed, or from the farmers, abandonned or meat market survivors. Most of our Jindo are mixed. But they are also cute. If you want to have a purbred Jindo with a pedigree and have other purposes to breed, we cannot help you.

Jindo Paws is specialized in EU Adoptions. US is possible too but Aniband Gouku itself will explain more in detail for you.

Usually our dogs for EU will travel to Frankfurt Airport with a flight volunteer where the new family will pick up their dog.

Pet of the month:

SOLAR

This sweet young boy is looking for a home
He is planned to go to Foster Care in April 2025 to 🇱🇺

However, we wish and pray that Solar find a home before April.

Solar is approx 1 year old, 10kg medium sized and a Jindo Mix.

Isn't he cute with the floppy ears? 🥰

Solar's personality is friendly, not dominant, playful and not searching for troubles or fights.

He enjoys belly rubs and playtime with dogs and volunteers.

As every dog in shelters, Solar needs to learn a lot of things. Solar only lived in the kill shelter and rescue center, he doesn't know the world's life, the forest, the human crowds, the smells, the cars etc.

The family or new dog dad/mom will need to bring some patience, care and love to let Solar find trust in you!
