My name is Krystle Mahoney and I live in West Monroe, LA with 12 year old son. I am a normal everyday woman with a normal everyday career in outside sales/marketing. I am a mom, bow huntress, and co-owner of Final feeding TV. After harvesting my first deer in 2017, I fell in love and was hooked. Shortly after my first deer I purchased a bow and my gun has done nothing but collect dust ever since.

I have proven to myself that this is not just a man's game and that I can hunt just as hard and be just as successful as anyone.

📅Mark your calendars! The highly-anticipated 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 will open to state hunters beginning 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝘂𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁. 𝟮𝟱.

The black bear hunting season will take place from December 7-22, 2024, in Bear Management Area 4, covering Tensas, Madison, East Carroll, West Carroll, and parts of Richland, Franklin, and Catahoula parishes.

A total of 10 permits will be issued for the 2024 lottery. Possession of a valid black bear hunting license is required to apply for the General and the WMA Black Bear Lottery. Successful applicants will also need to complete an LDWF bear hunter-training course that will take place on November 2nd or November 14th (LDWF encourages attendance on the November 2nd course if possible).

So proud of my son, the duck hunter!! He loves sports and fishing and archery (well he did as a kid, he likes to pull out the riffle now) but his by far favorite thing to do is go with his dad and his Pops to duck hunt!! Today he got his first banded duck!! Way to go Braxton Mahoney

Morning….. evening…. Welcome to Louisiana and meet this SITKA Gear obsessed kid!! One proud momma moment watching my son blossom as a sportsman! I blooded him at 6yrs old and we haven’t looked back!!thank you to his pops Eddie Mahoney for teaching him how to duck hunt!! Those are memories that will last forever!!

I am so proud of the hunter and young man my son has turned into! He’s just hanging out in the blind with his pop and camp buddies making memories watching the beautiful Louisiana sunrise 😍 let’s hope the Gator hasn’t come back to the blind y’all had the pleasure of meeting while y’all were getting ready for the season!! Yikes!! 🐊
