Just a reminder that we are a month away from this life changing course!
June 1-5 The Institute of Applied Equine Podiatry will be visiting Mandorla Farm in Canby, Oregon for a 5 day intensive course on the equine digit and how to balance it.
This course is open to all, including beginners with no prior experience with hooves. If you just want to learn for your own horse, we welcome you!
We also encourage vets, farriers, bodyworkers, and all owners to attend, as this course is one of a kind and packed full of more knowledge than you will find anywhere else in such a short period of time.
Taught by KC La Pierre, author of “The Chosen Road,” “Laminitis, Founder, & Equine Digital Osteoarthritis,” and “The Principles of Applied Equine Podiatry” KC is an internationally renowned researcher, teacher, AEP Master practitioner, and challenger of the current hoof industry status quo.
The horse’s foot contains incredible structures made of soft vascular and dynamic avascular tissues, as well as static bone, that need to work in harmony and balance to function at optimal performance for the domesticated horse’s lifestyle. This course is part classroom, part wet lab, and part working on live horses. It goes into great depth, taking two whole days in a classroom setting, before introducing a wet lab dissection and a demonstration of Perfect Hoof Wear Wraps, and then another 2 days, balancing with the HPT method on cadaver hooves, and then on to live horses on day 5. You will come away with your mind absolutely on fire with the knowledge gained, and the ability to balance a hoof effectively!
$895 plus tools.
(Mandorla Farm does not profit from this course in any way. We are passionate about the knowledge and want more people to be able to help horses live and work in comfort.)
