We love our farm babies! It is important to make sure you upkeep on their hoof trims, pig hooves need to be trimmed just like human nails need to be trimmed! If you don’t maintain their hooves they will get too overgrown which effects the way they walk due to weight distribution and can cause problems with their legs. Rule of thumb: if their dew claws are touching the ground it is time to schedule an appointment as they can start to curl under! Pig placement is not easy! These are just a few of the pigs we’ve been lucky enough to place since last August. It’s been a long ride and we won’t be able to take anymore at this time, but it’s definitely something we love to do.
