Meet Ivy 🌿! She's one of my latest fosters and probably the most difficult one I've had, especially when it comes to finding her a home. However, she's so full of life, playfulness, and joy! She loves playing hard with my cats, and she's always talking to tell everyone about all the things she is doing or seeing. Seriously, this girl may be part Siamese with how much she talks! Now, onto her quirks.
Along with having cerebellar hypoplasia, she's also pretty picky with how she is carried and where she likes to be pet. She loves it when I'm down on the floor playing with her, and she likes it when I come from the side to pet her on her shoulders instead of straight in front of her head. I think she may have some vision issues because she gets startled very easily.
If you know anything about cerebellar hypoplasia, then you know that it comes with some quirks. Her cerebellum is smaller and that is the part of the brain that is used for balance. Because it is smaller, there are a lot of balance and shakiness issues. While she's not the worst CH case, I would say she's pretty moderate. She doesn't always make it inside of the litter box because she's very shaky, she can fall over easily, and she doesn't like to jump on anything, even my couch. She really is a playful kitten that loves hanging out with my boys, so I really want her to go to a home with another cat. It brings her so much joy!
