Noodles got a makeover this am. He needed a good bath and a shave down. He is now handsome and ready for his new family who can't wait to have him home and love on him. We love you Noodles and we will miss you so much!!!

Bonnie, a combination of pomeranian and poodle, is an available service dog that will best serve a human with Anxiety/ PTSD/Depression. She is very small (10 lbs) but holds her own. My magnificent horse, Rembrandt, had 2 fishermen visitors to his side of the river. He is curious and kind and went and checked them out. He scared then as they were not expecting a horse. They asked to pat him. I said sure. I think their now friends for life!

RIP Cooper! By far the best bull dog I ever had the pleasure training. My car was being fixed during the time Cooper was here. I ended up with a Mercedes Benz as the rentel car. Cooper hoped right in the back like he owned it. It was quite a 2 weeks transporting this beast around. You have left Paw prints on my heart and I will never forget you. Thank you Cooper! You and I made HUGE progress together. Forever loved. Forever remembered.

Training a dog is huge work. Training the human is more work. Getting a human to understand they are directly impacting their dogs abilities either negative or positive, is tough. I work with many highly anxious humans who either sabotage or encourage the training of the dog. Anxious humans are the toughest to deal with. Their anxiety gets in the way of a great outcome for the dog. I've coined a phrase, "Your anxiety will not dictate my training". If you can not deal with your own issues, please don't send your dog for training. Your setting everyone up for failure.

It's very hot. Dogs don't always know when to stop, rest and drink. Just like small children, they need us to keep them safe, hydrated and happy. Please take extra precautions with your beloved dogs in this heat. Heat stroke happens fast and often difficult to reverse. Please, Please be careful these days. Our dogs count on us to keep them safe and happy. I love and appreciate all you amazing dogs owners. Keep up the great work with your dogs.

Hand 2 Paw has use of a small piece of lakefront. We are so grateful. This is where we bring the dogs to swim! It's such a surine, peaceful spot. Being the 4th of July, we do not have dogs with us this evening due to fireworks. We will resume bringing them here when the fireworks settle down later this week. Tonight, a maiden voyage of our new kyack. Such a beautiful evening for a quick glide on the lake.

Bailey joined the board and train program for a few reasons. He dislikes any human outside of his own pack. He also dislikes any dogs. Well, since his arrival last Thursday, I have seen today a major transformation. Here is Bailey today (cream colored doodle) making friends. He also played in the yard for 45 minutes with other dogs. I'm just so pleased. I truly feel like I'm a hospital for a dogs brain. I am so grateful for my job.

Service dog Gigi returns home!
This sweet girl was with me 7 weeks firming up her service dog training. She returned to her owner with a new set of skills & confidence. She no longer lunged at small dogs, no more pulling on the leash. She is now leaning into her owner, no longer aloof to her human & wanting to be engaged with her human. Picks up items & returns them to her owner. She had never done it for him. Only did those tasks when I asked. Here she is with her human. After being asked once. It's amazing what dogs can do & how much they help. No other trainer or organization would help the human get his dog trained. He heard about me from a past client living in California. He called me & we made it happen. So rewarding when a team comes out like this. Hand 2 Paw Dog Training
